Seungri has made his solo comeback with his first Korean studio album “The Great Seungri” and title track “1,2,3!”

His new title track features lyrics written by Teddy and Seungri. Other songs on his album also feature WINNER’s Song Mino, Blue.D, iKON’s B.I, and DANNIC.
Seungri’s first solo track was “Strong Baby,” which was included on BIGBANG’s 2008 album “Remember,” but his official solo debut was with his mini album “V.V.I.P” in 2011. His new album “The Great Seungri” will mark his first release in five years since his second mini album “Let’s Talk About Love.”
Seungri is also set to hold his very first solo concert in Korea on August 4-5.

On July 20, BIGBANG’s Seungri held a press conference ahead of the release of his first solo studio album “The Great Seungri!”

When asked about his thoughts regarding YG Entertainment’s future as a businessman, the singer-entrepreneur answered, “I’m a person who has loyalty. I have never once thought about leaving YG and I like YG.”
He continued, “I’m an agency singer who loves YG. You asked me about YG’s future and YG has diverse businesses in food, cosmetics, sports, and more. I think the center of all of these businesses is Hallyu and I think there is great value in the globalization of Hallyu.”
Seungri concluded, “YG hasn’t revealed it yet, but the junior singers to follow in the steps of WINNER, iKON, and BLACKPINK are really diverse and impressive. You can say that the future I foresee for YG is very bright.”
