[엑스포츠뉴스=전아람 기자] Group BIGBANG won the triple crown on Gaon Charts for the 13^th week with the song ‘FLOWER ROAD’, once again. 

On April 5, Gaon Chart announced, “BIGBANG’s ‘FLOWER ROAD’ had the honor of winning the triple crown by being placed at no. 1 on Digital Comprehensive, Download Comprehensive, and Streaming Comprehensive Charts for the 13^th week of 2018(2018.03.25~2018.03.31)”. They added, “They’ve won the triple crown for the 2^nd time in 2018, following their triple crown won on the 11^th week”.

On April 5, Gaon revealed chart results for the week from March 25 through March 31.

BIGBANG topped the overall digital chart with “Flower Road” for the third consecutive week. MAMAMOO’s “Starry Night” maintained its spot at No. 2, and iKON’s ‘Love Scenario” came in third. MOMOLAND’s “BBoom BBoom” and “Sudden Shower” by Highlight’s Yong Junhyung rose to fourth and fifth, respectively.

“Flower Road” also topped the download chart, followed by “Sudden Shower.” TVXQ’s latest title track “The Chance of Love” entered the chart at No. 3, and “Starry Night” came in fourth. “The Little Prince” by Haon and Pullik from “High School Rapper 2” rose 18 spots to fifth place.

“Flower Road” also took first on the streaming chart, making it a triple crown for BIGBANG. Previous releases round up the top five with “Starry Night” at No. 2, followed by “Love Scenario,” “BBoom BBoom,” and Heize’s “Jenga.”

Lee Seung Chul’s ‘Painful Love” took first on the mobile chart for ringtones, followed by “Starry Night” and “Flower Road.” “Love Scenario” maintained its spot at No. 4, and Paul Kim’s OST “for “Should We Kiss First” rose to fifth.

TVXQ’s eighth studio album “New Chapter #1: The Chance of Love” entered the album chart at No. 1. MONSTA X’s sixth mini album “The Connect: Deja Vu” and Stray Kids’ debut mini album “I Am NOT” entered at second and fourth, respectively. Wanna One’s album “0+1=1 (I Promise You)” took third, and “NCT 2018 Empathy” came in fifth.

G-Dragon has completed his basic military training!

According to an insider, the BIGBANG member finished basic training with the military training completion ceremony on April 5.

During his five weeks at the 3rd Infantry Division recruit training center after enlisting on February 27, he showcased impressive physical and mental strength. As a result, he has been assigned to be a military instruction assistant of the 3rd Infantry Division.

G-Dragon is scheduled to be discharged from the military on November 26, 2019.
