

[OSEN=김은애 기자] BIGBANG is proving their presence as ‘God-BANG’ by firmly maintaining their no. 1 spot.
As of March 30, at 8 AM, BIGBANG’s ‘FLOWER ROAD’ was ranked at no. 1 in Melon, Korea’s largest music streaming platform. They have maintained their top spot for 18 days since the song was released on the 13th.
BIGBANG achieved an ‘all-kill’ in music charts despite their absences due to enlistments while gaining popularity in and out of Korea.
The group is dominating no. 1 spots during hours when the number of users increase. Furthermore, the song ‘FLOWER ROAD’ is maintaining its no. 1 rank in daily and weekly charts.
‘FLOWER ROAD’ is a song that serves as a love letter by BIGBANG for the fans, written before their enlistments. Leader G-DRAGON participated in the writing and composing of the song, while oldest member T.O.P also helped write the lyrics, expressing his sincerity.
Meanwhile, members of BIGBANG except for SEUNGRI including G-DRAGON, T.O.P, TAEYANG, and DAESUNG are all serving active military duties.

“Boomerang” came in at first place on the download chart, and “Sudden Shower” by Highlight’s Yong Junhyung entered at fourth. “Flower Road” and “Starry Night” remain strong at second and third place, respectively. “Drum” by Webster B and Chin Chilla from “High School Rapper 2” rose 22 spots to fifth place.
Previous releases dominated the streaming chart. “Flower Road” is No. 1, “Starry Night” is No. 2, and “Love Scenario” is No. 3. “Jenga” and MOMOLAND’s “BBoom BBoom” round up the top five.
“Flower Road” also took first on the mobile chart for ringtones, followed by “Starry Night.”
Wanna One’s new album “0+1=1 (I Promise You)” topped the album chart recording physical album shipments. UP10TION’s “Invitation” took second. “NCT 2018 Empathy” took third, GOT7’s “Eyes on You” took fourth, and BTS’s “Love Yourself: Her” took fifth.
