Following fellow BIGBANG member G-Dragon, Taeyang has also confirmed his military enlistment date.

On February 15, YG Entertainment confirmed reports that Taeyang is set to enlist as an active-duty soldier on March 12, 2018.

YG Entertainment had stated earlier in February that G-Dragon and Taeyang were waiting for their draft notices for active-duty service. Then, it was confirmed that G-Dragon’s enlistment date was set at February 27, with plans to have a quiet enlistment with no official farewell events.

Knowing that they would be enlisting this year, both Taeyang and G-Dragon opened up about their temporary hiatus with fans and made promises to meet again soon during their concert in December 2017. Since then, G-Dragon has been taking a break and resting. Meanwhile, Taeyang prepared for his wedding with Min Hyo Rin, and the two tied the knot on February 3.

G-Dragon and Taeyang will be the second and third members to begin their mandatory service, with T.O.P currently fulfilling his duties as a public service worker.

[스포츠조선=김성원 기자] BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI sang OST for the movie ‘LOVE ONLY’ starring himself. 

On February 14, SEUNGRI will open ‘Movie Song LOVE ONLY by ‘FADED’ Global Launch Party’ for the soundtrack of ‘LOVE ONLY’ at club CUBIC located in Macau. 

SEUNGRI will run the premiere and introduce the music video himself. Furthermore, he will spend time communicating with the fans who attend the party as well. All profits from the event will be donated for a good cause. 

The song ‘Faded’ sung by SEUNGRI is a hit song originally performed by Norwegian DJ, Alan Walker. SEUNGRI completed the soundtrack by singing the song in Chinese. The song known for its ambient electronic sound was reborn as a romantic version with SEUNGRI’s warm vocals and emotions. The music video successfully portrays the emotional scenes and its touching moments from the film.

‘Faded’ the soundtrack for ‘LOVE ONLY’ and its music video will be revealed at 7 PM on the day of the event through music platforms including QQ Music, Kugou, and Kuwo.  

The film ‘LOVE ONLY’ is a romance movie that portrays love between a young couple, and contains stylish visuals from Beijing, Hong Kong, France, UK, and Saipan. The stylish elements and romantic emotions are complexly illustrated, raising expectations on the film. The premiere is planning expand from China to Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Vietnam, and more.

[OSEN=정지원 기자] Group BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON will start his military duty on February 27. 

According to related officials regarding this matter, BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON received his draft notice for February 27. He is planning to enlist without delay. Therefore, G-DRAGON will join the army after 13 days.

YG Entertainment has previously stated that “TAEYANG and G-DRAGON are waiting for their draft notice” officially. In other words, they were on standby to join the military. Also, G-DRAGON mentioned his military duty in BIGBANG’s exclusive concert held in Gocheok Sky Dome last year on December 31. 

He stated, “As spring comes when winter ends, please don’t be sad and stay happy. We will soon meet again. All 5 of us, BIGBANG, want all of you to be happy. That is our source of energy”. He continued, “If we spend day by day hoping for the day of reunion, the day will soon come, because our love will never change”, showing his affections and warming the fans’ hearts. 

The training center G-DRAGON will has not yet been revealed.
