Löhne/Bad Oeynhausen (WB). The filming of the German-Chinese Action-Film with the working title »Out of control« have finished. The production company Action Concept has confirmed this on request. Part of the production has been done on the future A30 (motorway).

To start the filming at the end of February a elaborate staged explosion at the Löhner cable-stayed bridge was on the plan. Many stuntmen by the production company Action Concept were involved. The main actor Choi Seung-Hyun from South Korea and the main actress Cecilia Cheung from Hong Kong took part in the April continuation of the shooting and only then joined the set at the future A30 (motorway).
After finishing the actual filming, Magdalena Pelc outlines that postproduction begins. Postproduction is also being undertaken by Action Concept who is responsible. “The movie is expected to be finalized by the beginning of November and will then be forwarded to Dreams of Dragons Pictures”, explains the speaker. Dreams of Dragons Pictures is the Chinese partner of the German production company from Hürth nearby Cologne.
During postproductions special effects will be included. For example the explosion scene at the Löhner cable-stayed bridge will be extended to show the bridge fully destroyed. Another step will be to completely dub the movie into Mandarin Chinese. At least a first trailer of the Cyber-Action movie will be finalised shortly. It will be shown at the 19th International Shanghai Film Festival in June. “The movie is expected to come into cinemas in China in December”, underlines Magdalena Pelc. When the international production will possibly be shown in Germany is still open.
A central role in the Action-Adventure next to main actors Cecilia Cheung and Choi Seung-Hyun are 30 stretch limousines. With the help of a computer virus, the cyber criminal (Michael Trevino) takes control over the luxurious cars. Important parts of the showdown between good (Cecilia Cheung and Choi Seung-Hyun) and bad (Michael Trevino) were filmed on the not yet open motorway A30.

Löhne/Bad Oeynhausen (WB). Die Dreharbeiten für den deutsch-chinesischen Action-Film mit dem Arbeitstitel »Out of control« sind abgeschlossen. Das hat die Produktionsfirma Action Concept auf Anfrage bestätigt. Ein Teil der Aufnahmen ist auf der künftigen A 30 entstanden.

»Der letzte Drehtag war am 20. Mai. Action Concept und das gesamte ›Out of control‹-Team sind sehr zufrieden, weil alles nach Plan beziehungsweise nach Wunsch verlaufen ist«, sagte Action-Concept-Sprecherin Magdalena Pelc im Gespräch mit dieser Zeitung. Wie berichtet, waren 46 Drehtage unter anderem in Köln, Wuppertal, Düsseldorf, Cochem, Berlin, Aldenhoven sowie auf der künftigen A 30 in Löhne und Bad Oeynhausen angesetzt. Als Budget für das moderne Hightech-Action-Abenteuer stand ein zweistelliger Millionenbetrag zur Verfügung.
Die aufwändig inszenierte Explosion an der Löhner Schrägseilbrücke gehört zu den Schlüsselmomenten des deutsch-chinesischen Action-Films. Die Szene wurde bereits Ende Februar aufgenommen.
Zum Auftakt der Dreharbeiten Ende Februar stand unter anderem die aufwändig inszenierte Explosion an der Löhner Schrägseilbrücke auf dem Plan. Daran waren vor allem Stuntmen der Produktionsfirma Action Concept beteiligt. Hauptdarsteller Choi Seung-hyun aus Südkorea und Hauptdarstellerin Cecilia Cheung aus Hongkong waren erst Anfang April bei der Fortsetzung der Dreharbeiten auf der künftigen A 30 mit am Set.
Nach dem Abschluss der Filmaufnahmen steht laut Magdalena Pelc nun die Postproduktion an, die Action Concept ebenfalls durchführt und verantwortet. »Bis Anfang November soll der Film fertig sein und an Dreams of Dragons Pictures übermittelt werden«, erläuterte die Sprecherin. Bei Dreams of Dragons Pictures handelt es sich um den chinesischen Partner der deutschen Produktionsfirma aus Hürth bei Köln.
Zum einen kommt es bei der Nachbearbeitung auf Spezialeffekte an. So wird beispielsweise am Computer der Eindruck erweckt, die Löhner Schrägseilbrücke werde bei der Explosion komplett zerstört. Zum anderen muss der Film vor dem Kinostart in China beispielsweise noch komplett auf Mandarin synchronisiert werden. Denn: »Vor der Kamera spricht jeder Schauspieler seine Muttersprache«, hatte Unit Production Manager Tobias Knubel Anfang April im Exklusiv-Interview mit dieser Zeitung erklärt.
In einer Tunnelszene klammert sich Hauptdarstellerin Cecilia Cheung an einer Strechtlimousine fest. Die Tunneleingänge wurden in Bad Oeynhausen gedreht, der Rest der Einstellung in Köln.
Zumindest ein erster Trailer für den Cyber-Action-Film muss bereits in Kürze fertiggestellt sein. Er wird im Juni beim 19. Internationalen Shanghai Filmfestival gezeigt. »Der Film soll voraussichtlich im Dezember in China in die Kinos gekommen«, betonte Magdalena Pelc. Wann die internationale Produktion möglicherweise auch in Deutschland in die Kinos gelangt, sei nach wie vor offen.
Eine zentrale Rolle in dem Action-Abenteuer spielen neben den Hauptdarstellern Cecilia Cheung und Choi Seung-hyun 30 Stretchlimousinen. Mit Hilfe eines Software-Virus gelingt es einem Cyber-Kriminellen (Michael Trevino), die Kontrolle über die Luxuskarossen zu übernehmen. Wichtige Teile des spektakulären Showdowns zwischen Gut (Cecilia Cheung und Choi Seung-hyun) und Böse (Michael Trevino) wurden auf der noch nicht freigegebenen Nordumgehung A 30 gedreht.
