April Individual Idol Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for individual idols!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 1,730 idols, using big data collected from March 23 to April 23.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,688,388 for April. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “Iris,” “HOME SWEET HOME,” and “KAIST professor,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “curate,” “collaborate,” and “transmit.” G-Dragon’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 90.53 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, IVE’s Jang Won Young took second place for the month with a brand reputation index of 5,800,150.

BTS’s Jin ranked third with a brand reputation index of 4,925,947, marking a 33.53 percent rise in his score since last month.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,794,202, while her bandmate Rosé rounded out the top five with a score of 4,524,182 for April.

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the week of April 6 to 12!

Album Chart

NCT’s Mark achieved a double crown on this week’s charts with his first solo album “The Firstfruit” and its title track “1999,” which topped the physical album chart and the digital download chart respectively.

Mark claimed two of the top four spots on this week’s album chart with “The Firstfruit”: the regular version of the album debuted at No. 1, while the Nemo version charted separately at No. 4.

THE BOYZ’s “Unexpected” stayed strong at No. 2 on this week’s chart, while AMPERS&ONE’s “WILD&FREE” and FANTASY BOYS’ “UNDENIABLE” debuted at No. 3 and No. 5 respectively.

Overall Digital Chart

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon once again maintained his double crown on the Circle charts with his hit song “TOO BAD” (featuring Anderson .Paak), which remained No. 1 on both the overall digital chart and streaming chart this week.

ZO ZAZZ’s “Don’t you know” held onto its spot at No. 2, while WOODZ (Cho Seung Youn)’s “Drowning” climbed back up to No. 3.

BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s “like JENNIE” stayed strong at No. 4, with Hwang Karam’s “I’m Firefly” rounding out the top five for the week.

Streaming Chart

The top four songs on this week’s streaming chart were the same as the overall digital chart, except WOODZ’s “Drowning” and ZO ZAZZ’s “Don’t you know” swapped places to take No. 3 and No. 4 respectively.

Finally, aespa’s “Whiplash” climbed back up to No. 5 for the week.

Mark topped this week’s digital download chart with his new solo title track “1999,” while Kang Daniel’s “Mess” entered the chart at No. 2.

BIGBANG’s Daesung’s “Universe” debuted at No. 3, followed by Hwang Karam’s “I’m Firefly” at No. 4 and Lim Young Woong’s “Our Blues” at No. 5.

Global K-Pop Chart

The top five songs on this week’s streaming chart remained exactly the same as last week: BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” continued its reign at No. 1, followed by Jennie’s “like JENNIE” at No. 2, BTS’s j-hope’s “MONA LISA” at No. 3, aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 4, and Jennie’s “ExtraL” featuring Doechii at No. 5.
