
The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from March 12 to April 12.
BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list with a brand reputation index of 7,617,606, marking a 9.12 percent increase in their score since March. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “j-hope,” “Jimin,” and “Jungkook,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “donate,” “record,” and “surpass.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 91.59 percent positive reactions.
SEVENTEEN maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 6,205,121, marking a 3.95 percent rise in their score since last month.
SHINee climbed to third place after seeing a 43.87 percent increase in their brand reputation index, bringing their total score to 4,313,364 for the month.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG came in fourth place with a brand reputation index of 3,408,197 for April.
Finally, Stray Kids rose to fifth place with a brand reputation index of 3,077,645, marking a 47.93 percent increase in their score since March.
