[동아닷컴=홍세영 기자] BIGBANG was confirmed to perform at ‘Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival’, which is the largest music festival in the United States. It will be the group’s first official performance since the members were discharged from the military, which matches their ‘world class’ level.

On January 3, YG Entertainment revealed, “BIGBANG(G-DRAGON·TAEYANG·T.O.P·DAESUNG) was invited to perform at ‘Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival’, being held in Indio, California from April 10th until the 19th”.

Coachella also announced this year’s lineup through their official social media account on the same day. According to the lineup poster, YG’s representative group BIGBANG will perform on April 10th and on the 17th. BIGBANG will perform on two Friday nights, which are the highlights of the festival, and receive the attention of global music fans.

Global artists have been included in the lineup along with BIGBANG. The group will perform at the festival along artists such as Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean, Calvin Harris, and Lana Del Rey.
