A member of a chatroom including Jung Joon Young, in which several illegally taken videos were found, has opened up about the ongoing controversy.

On March 12, a person known as “H” participated in a phone call interview with media outlet kstarnews. According to the outlet, “H” argued that he does not remember anything about the chatroom and that the ongoing controversy does not involve him. He further claimed, “When I was being investigated as a witness yesterday (on March 11), I told [the police] that I do not remember anything.”

When asked if the members of the chatroom filmed and exchanged hidden camera videos, he answered, “I don’t think we did. I don’t even remember who was in the chatroom.” The media outlet followed the question by asking him if he thinks the situation is unfair, but “H” did not respond.

The existence of the chatroom first came to light on March 11 due to a report from SBS funE. Following the initial reports, SBS further reported on the issue and revealed that Jung Joon Young is one of the members in the chatroom, and he allegedly shared illegally taken videos and photos in 10 different instances. The chatroom reportedly had a total of eight members including BIGBANG’s Seungri, two other male singers, and others.
