BIGBANG’s “Sober” Becomes Their 9th Full Group MV To Hit 100 Million Views

Another one of BIGBANG’s music videos has reached the 100 million mark on YouTube!

“Sober” was first released on July 1, 2015 alongside “If You” as a part of the group’s “D” single from their “MADE” series. Two years, 10 months, 22 days, and a little over 13 hours later, the music video surpassed 100 million views on YouTube on May 23 at approximately 1:20 p.m. KST.

This marks BIGBANG’s ninth music video to reach 100 million views (as a whole group) after “FXXK IT,” “Blue,” “Let’s Not Fall in Love,” “Fantastic Baby,” “BANG BANG BANG,” “Loser,” “Bad Boy,” and “BAE BAE.” When including their other solo and sub-unit music videos, “Sober” is BIGBANG’s 12th music video overall to hit this milestone.

BIGBANG’s Seungri To Perform Solo At Japanese Music Festival

Seungri will be taking on a solo performance at Japanese summer festival “a-nation 2018.”

“a-nation” is one of Japan’s biggest summer festivals and spans several weekends and cities. TVXQ is notably the only Korean headliner in the festival. Other Korean artists to perform include BoA, Super Junior, EXO, WINNER, Red Velvet, Lee Hi, and NCT 127.

Seungri has been confirmed to perform at “a-nation 2018” on August 18 at the Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka. He previously performed at the festival with his fellow BIGBANG members.

Seungri’s popularity in Japan is steadily growing through his various promotions. His Japanese solo debut album “Let’s Talk About Love” ranked No. 1 on the Oricon daily album chart, and he has been active in the variety show scene. He will soon be departing for his first solo tour in Japan in August, stopping by Chiba, Fukuoka, and Osaka.
