G-DRAGON’s “UNTITLED” sweeping 8 music-streaming websites in Korea… “Just as everyone expected”

On June 8 at 6PM, G-DRAGON released his new solo album “KWON JI YONG” on music-streaming websites in Korea.

As of the same day at 9PM, “UNTITLED”, the title track of the album, topped the real-time charts of eight music-streaming websites in Korea, including Melon, Genie, Bugs, and NAVER Music.

Other songs of the album including “BULLSHIT” and “SUPER STAR” alto took No.2 and No.3 on charts.

G-DRAGON has released the new solo album for the first time in four years since “COUP D’ETAT” released in 2013. G-DRAGON’s new solo album “KWON JI YONG” presents total five songs: intro track “MIDDLE FINGERS-UP”, “BULLSHIT”, “SUPER STAR”, “UNTITLED”, and “DIVINA COMMEDIA”.

Title track “UNTITLED” is a slow song with an impressive piano melody, which expresses the feeling of missing past love in a sentimental mood.

In his new album, G-DRAGON openly talks about his stories and thoughts as one of grown-ups and his feelings about the beginning of his thirties, as ordinary person “Kwon Jiyong”.

G-DRAGON will kick off his solo world tour “<ACT III, M.O.T.T.E>” on June 10 at Sang-am World Cup Stadium in Seoul.

Hong Kong actor Zong Yao Wang apologizes for insensitive remark about T.O.P


Hong Kong actor Zong Yao Wang apologized for a recent insensitive remark about T.O.P, who was hospitalized for a drug overdose. 
When the reports of T.O.P’s hospitalization made headlines on June 6, Zong Yao Wang turned to Instagram to state, “T.O.P collapsed because he didn’t smoke,” which seems to be referring to the BIGBANG member’s marijuana use charges. 
Zong Yao Wang’s post has caused netizens to react negatively, pointing out, “He wasn’t hospitalized because of marijuana”, and more. On June 8, the actor posted, “I think my past remark was too much. I’m apologetic to the people I’ve heard. I’m sorry I left a message like that in a public forum.”
