BIGBANG’s T.O.P Releases Official Hand-Written Apology About Marijuana Case

On June 4, YG Entertainment revealed T.O.P’s hand-written apology about the recent marijuana case.

Below is a translation of his letter.

“First of all, I would like to sincerely apologize for causing great disappointment and disturbance with a big wrongdoing.

“I am too ashamed of myself to apologize in front of everyone. [Therefore], I am carefully writing down my regretful and fearful feelings.

“Because I have left an irrevocable scar in the hearts of the members, my agency, the public, my fans who have supported me, and my family, I believe I deserve to be punished.

“My heart aches, and I am also very ashamed of my self. I will meditate and reflect on [my mistake] again and again.

“I will never make such an irresponsible mistake again. Once again, I apologize for not being able to apologize to everyone personally. I will deeply repent my wrongdoing.

“I am very ashamed of myself.

“I apologize.”

Meanwhile, T.O.P admitted to allegations of marijuana use after reports of a positive follicle hair test. He is currently serving in the military band, and they have yet to make any concrete decisions regarding his service.
