It looked like BIGBANG are, indeed, the ‘King of KPOP’. The group hit yet another milestone in their career with their latest tracks ‘FXXK IT’ and ‘Last Dance’.

The music videos for BIGBANG’s latest hits ‘FXXK IT’ and ‘Last Dance’ were only released just a little more than a month ago but they were already garnering an impressive amount of views on YouTube.

BIGBANG’s music video for ‘FXXK IT’ already hit 50 million views while the music video for ‘Last Dance’ was also able to garner 30 million views and counting. But, of course, that’s no longer surprising for a KPOP group who previously set a record of hitting 200 million views on ‘Bang Bang Bang’ just a little over a week after it was released! It looks like BIGBANG is not called the ‘King of KPOP’ for nothing.

To celebrate BIGBANG’s 10th anniversary, the group prepared a lot of ‘gifts’ to their fans and among these is the release of their latest hits ‘FXXK IT’, ‘Last Dance’, and ‘Girlfriend’. The said tracks were released, on both digital and physical formats, December last year. All 3 tracks made it to the Top 3 of Gaon Chart (selling over 1 million digital copies combined), and even conquering top 2, 3, and 4 spots of Billboard World Digital Songs Chart (selling over 13 thousand copies combined).

These are the last tracks BIGBANG will be releasing before T.O.P will do his mandatory 2-year military enlistment. T.O.P will be enlisting as a conscripted policeman starting this February 9. VIPs (as BIGBANG fans call themselves) will have to wait for 2 years before they group complete again, that’s if no other member of the group follows T.O.P’s enlistment.

BIGBANG Ends 10th Anniversary Tour In Hong Kong Concert

BIGBANG

Korea’s biggest hip hop boy band BIGBANG just concluded their 10th-anniversary tour in Hong Kong just before rapper T.O.P. leaves for his military service.

BIGBANG spent the last weekend with two-day performances in Hong Kong. This marks the end of their 10th-anniversary tour “0.TO.10” which included 24 shows in six cities attended by 1,120,000 fans from all across the globe.

The show kicked off with one of their earliest songs “Heaven” and also included their past hits “Last Farewell,” “Lies” and “BAE BAE.”

“This is our largest-scale performance in Hong Kong, and it’s our first time performing outside,” allkpop quoted BIGBANG as saying during their concert in Hong Kong. “Thanks to everyone for being with us here. Let’s enjoy our 10th-anniversary concert.”

T.O.P. posted a video on Instagram after their concert Sunday night to bid his fans another touching farewell message.

“I’ll miss you a lot,” wrote T.O.P. in English.

Then he wrote in Korean, “Thank you, everyone. I will really miss you a lot. I’ll come back as a more mature person because of that longing. I’m happy.”

The 29-year-old BIGBANG member also bid his Japanese fans a similar message after they wrapped up their Japan concert last month.

“Goodbye for now,” wrote the rapper in Japanese in a post on Instagram. “Please stay healthy. I will miss you a lot. I’ll mature with that longing and come back again.”

“Good night V.I.P Japan,” he added.

T.O.P. will temporarily be gone from the limelight in about two years as he enlists for their mandatory military service on February 9.

The band’s management label YG Entertainment announced that G-Dragon and Taeyang will be releasing their individual solo albums later this year while Daesung and Seungri also work on their solo activities.

G-Dragon and Taeyang, both 28, will register for military service this year while Daesung and Seungri would follow next year.
