Good news, VIPs! BIGBANG is the only Korean act selected by Fuse TV as one of the best essential tracks of 2015.

On December 7th, Fuse TV published an article titled “The 20 Best Songs of 2015,” where they revealed the list of their top essential tracks of the year picked by their own staff members. Joining the ranks of international artists such as Carly Rae Jepsen, Adele, Drake, One Direction in the compilation of songs that represent the best of almost every genre, BIGBANG managed to land on sixteenth stop with their comeback track, “Loser.”

Fuse TV also revealed the reason behind their pick and explained, “This year marked a banner year for the K-pop phenoms BIGBANG, who promoted eight (!) different singles this summer. It all kicked off in May with this brilliant mid-tempo track, that mixed BIGBANG’s emotion-soaked hip hop with a slew of impassioned hooks. From G-Dragon and T.O.P‘s honest bars to Taeyang and Daesung’s sky-high belting, “Loser” moves you regardless of what language you speak. – Jeff Benjamin.”

It seems like a good year for BIGBANG following their successful comeback and concert activities including “Song of The Year,” “Worldwide Favourite Artist” and “Artist of the Year” at the 2015 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Hong Kong.

BIGBANG’s “Loser” Makes FuseTV’s Top 20 Songs of 2015

FuseTV, an American digital cable and satellite television channel dedicated to music, has released their staff picks for the 20 best songs of 2015. The list features a diverse range of genres, from hip-hop to country to pop-rock, and global heavy-hitters such as Adele, Rihanna, and Kanye West.

Standing at No. 16 on their list is BIGBANG’s “Loser,” released this past May. The FuseTV staff praise G-Dragon and T.O.P’s “honest” rapping and Daesung and Taeyang’s powerful vocals, asserting that the song “moves you regardless of whatever language you speak.” “Loser” is the only non-English track on the list.

“Loser,” “Bang Bang Bang,” and “Let’s Not Fall in Love,” all released by BIGBANG this summer as part of the MADE series, reached No. 1 on the Billboard World Digitals Songs chart. YouTube also recently revealed that the music videos for “Bang Bang Bang” and “Loser” were the most watched K-pop music videos of 2015.

A tour de force in both domestic K-pop and the international Hallyu wave, BIGBANG is currently in the middle of their “BIGBANG 2015 World Tour -2016 [MADE] IN JAPAN,” having performed concerts in Nagoya on December 5 and 6. They will be performing in Osaka at the Kyocera Dome in January.
