Stray Kids, BTS, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, ILLIT, ATEEZ, TXT, And More Claim Top Spots On Billboard World Albums Chart

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on January 25!

Stray Kids’ SKZHOP HIPTAPE “合 (HOP)” topped the World Albums chart for the fifth week in a row, and it also spent a fifth consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 80.

BTS’s Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” stayed strong at No. 3 in its 26th week on the World Albums chart, in addition to setting a new record for the longest-charting K-pop solo album on the Billboard 200.

ENHYPEN’s “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” held steady at No. 5 in its 27th week on the World Albums chart, and BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” similarly maintained its position at No. 6 in its 136th week on the chart.

LE SSERAFIM’s “CRAZY” remained unmoving at No. 7 in its 19th week on the chart, while ILLIT’s “I’LL LIKE YOU” rose to No. 8 in its 10th week.

Stray Kids’ “ATE” climbed back up to No. 9 in its 26th week on the chart, with ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2” following at No. 10 in its ninth week.

TXT’s “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY” took No. 13 in its 11th week on the chart, followed by NewJeans’ “Get Up” at No. 14 (in its 71st week), BTS’s Jin’s solo album “Happy” at No. 16 (in its ninth week), and SEVENTEEN’s “SPILL THE FEELS” at No. 17 (in its 13th week).

BIGBANG’s 2016 album “MADE” rose to No. 19 in its 14th non-consecutive week on the chart, trailed by SEVENTEEN’s “17 IS RIGHT HERE” at No. 20 in its 31st week.

aespa’s “Whiplash” came in at No. 21 in its 11th week on the chart, and ILLIT’s debut mini album “SUPER REAL ME” rounded out the top 25 in its 20th week.

January Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from December 23, 2024 to January 23, 2025.

BLACKPINK continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 11,241,702. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Rosé,” “full group,” and “Jennie,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “look forward to,” “root for,” and “comeback.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.20 percent positive reactions.

SEVENTEEN held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 8,026,659, marking a 33.56 percent increase in their score since December.

BTS similarly maintained their position at third place with a brand reputation index of 6,340,427, marking a 10.55 percent rise in their score since last month.

IVE rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,479,545, marking a 19.33 percent increase in their score since December.

Finally, aespa rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 5,150,630, marking an 11.52 percent rise in their score.
