September Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from August 11 to September 11.

BTS topped the list for the 28th consecutive month with a brand reputation index of 17,700,138, marking an impressive 98.33 percent rise in their score since August.

High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Billboard,” “Dynamite,” and “YouTube,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “comfort,” “appear,” and “record.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 82.20 percent positive reactions.

EXO held onto their spot at second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 2,271,119, while SEVENTEEN similarly maintained their position at third with a total index of 2,135,606.

Finally, NCT and SHINee rounded the top five for September at fourth and fifth places respectively.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups, using big data collected from July 21 to August 21.

BTS held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 14,900,242 for August, marking a 35.78 percent increase in their score since July.

High-ranking phrases in BTS’s keyword analysis included “Dynamite,” “MV,” and “disco,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “comfort,” “comeback,” and “release.” The group’s positivity-negativity analysis revealed a score of 83.79 percent positive reactions.

BLACKPINK also maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 8,472,487, while Red Velvet similarly remained third with a total index of 3,886,185 for the month.

Finally, (G)I-DLE and TWICE rounded out the top five for August at fourth and fifth places respectively.
