April Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 100 idol groups, using big data collected from March 23 to April 24.
BTS remained at the top of the list this month, scoring a total brand reputation index of 9,901,733 for April. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “BANG BANG CON,” “YouTube,” and “ARMY,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “enjoy,” “admire,” and “perform.”
EXO rose to second place in the rankings with a brand reputation index of 5,243,982, marking a 33.08 percent increase in their score since March.
Finally, BLACKPINK held onto their spot at third place with a total index of 4,638,840 for April.

JTBC’s “Hidden Singer” To Return With 6th Season
“Hidden Singer” is making a return!
JTBC’s “Hidden Singer” has announced that it will be returning for the first time in two years with its sixth season in the second half of 2020.
The program first aired in 2012 and is a music variety show that pits a singer against contestants who say they have perfected impersonating the singer’s voice. An audience then tries to vote out all of the impersonators after hearing all of them sing. The show has been loved throughout its various seasons.
For the upcoming “Hidden Singer 6,” the show has announced that they are searching for people who can impersonate the voices of Kang Soo Ji, Koo Chang Mo, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun, Kim Dong Ryul, Kim Yeon Ja, Kim Wan Sun, Kim Won Joon, Kim Jong Kook, JYJ’s Kim Junsu, Kim Chang Ryeol, Kim Hyun Jung, Naul, Davichi, Park Myung Soo, Park Jung Hyun, Park Hyo Shin, Baek Ji Young, Rain, Seo Taiji, Sunmi, Seol Woon Do, Shin Yong Jae, Shim Soo Bong, IU, Yangpa, Uhm Jung Hwa, Ok Joo Hyun, Yoon Mi Rae, Lee Mi Ja, Lee So Ra, Lee Seung Gi, Lee Seung Chul, Lee Jung Hyun, Lee Hyori, Jang Nara, Jang Beom Jun, Jang Yoon Jung, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon and Taeyang, Block B’s Zico, Jin Sung, Choi Baek Ho, Ha Hyun Woo, HyunA, Hae Eun Yi, MAMAMOO’s Hwasa, and more.
“Hidden Singer 6” will premiere in the second half of 2020.
