Watch: aespa Teaches G-Dragon Their 'Whiplash' Choreo In 'Good Day' Preview

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon’s variety show “Good Day” has shared a sneak peek of aespa’s upcoming guest appearance!

Helmed by “Infinite Challenge” producing director (PD) Kim Tae Ho, “Good Day” is a music project in which G-Dragon brings together celebrities from various fields to create the “song of the year.” Taking on the role of producer, G-Dragon will tell their stories through music, offering viewers an in-depth look at his creative process through a reality show format.

In a newly released preview of the show’s next episode, the four members of aespa arrive together at the “Good Day” general assembly. The clip then flashes back to six hours before the assembly, when G-Dragon, Jung Hyung Don, and Defconn met up with the aespa members at a coffee shop.

Defconn reveals that G-Dragon specifically brought up aespa as an artist he wanted to invite to appear on “Good Day,” and G-Dragon recalls, “Of course, I had already been watching them with interest during my time off, but when I went to the latest MAMA Awards, they won an award there.”

Jung Hyung Don then jokes, “I wish you wouldn’t sing songs like ‘Whiplash,’” before explaining, “My kids keep dancing along to it way too much.” G-Dragon chimes in, “His daughters are huge fans [of aespa].”

Defconn points out that G-Dragon has danced to “Whiplash” before, and G-Dragon explains that he just danced along to the song backstage when aespa was rehearsing, but that he didn’t actually follow their choreography. Defconn then suggests that one of the aespa members teaches G-Dragon the actual choreography, and Winter steps up to demonstrate the famous move from the chorus.

Both Defconn and G-Dragon immediately attempt the move, but G-Dragon repeatedly gets embarrassed while dancing in front of aespa. As he sits back down, he exclaims, “I miss the [other BIGBANG] members so much.” Defconn asks Giselle what she thought of his dancing, and she replies, “It was perfect.”

The next episode of “Good Day” will air on March 29 at 9:10 p.m. KST. Check out the new teaser below!

G-Dragon's Agency Apologizes For Concert Starting Over An Hour After Originally Scheduled

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon’s agency has issued a formal apology for the delay in his concert start time.

On March 29, approximately 5 hours before G-Dragon’s first “Übermensch” concert was scheduled to take place at Goyang Stadium at 6:30 p.m. KST, Coupang Play announced that the show would be starting 30 minutes late due to worsening weather conditions.

However, the concert ultimately ended up starting at 7:43 p.m. KST, 73 minutes after it was originally scheduled to begin. As the show was held in an outdoor stadium, many concertgoers expressed anger and frustration at the unexpected delay, with some criticizing the fact that G-Dragon did not personally address or apologize for the delay when he finally took the stage.

On the morning of March 30, G-Dragon’s agency Galaxy Corporation released the following statement:

Hello. This is Galaxy Corporation.

We are making a statement regarding the “G-DRAGON 2025 WORLD TOUR [Übermensch] IN KOREA, presented by Coupang Play” concert that was held on March 29. Due to worsening weather conditions (severe winds), the concert was delayed once for safety reasons, and then as an extension of this [original delay], the concert was delayed yet again.

This was due to the bad weather conditions before the concert, such as the subzero temperature and chill, the snow and windy rain that suddenly began falling in the morning, and the severe winds that followed starting in the afternoon. G-Dragon kept an eye on the weather and the cold at the venue all day, from his 2 p.m. soundcheck that day to his rehearsal [before the show].

However, in spite of that, [the delays in the concert’s start time] were a measure taken for safety reasons, out of concern that using the stage equipment might endanger the audience. Just as we stated in our apology at the concert venue, we would once again like to thank and apologize to the fans who waited for the concert to start for a long time in the cold.

G-Dragon will be holding his second “Übermensch” show at Goyang Stadium on March 30 at 6:30 p.m. KST.
