Taeyang heats up Chiba on ‘White Night’ world tour

Taeyang of BIGBANG kicked off his second solo world tour in Chiba, Japan.

Some 50,000 fans attended the concerts held Saturday and Sunday at ZOZO Marine Stadium.

During the concerts in Chiba, the singer performed 19 songs including his hit songs such as “You’re My,” “I Need a Girl” and “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”

“The sun will not set tonight because of me. Let’s unite into one and light up the night sky until the end,” he said. His stage name Taeyang means sun in Korean.

Taeyang will visit Hyogo for the next concerts scheduled for Aug. 5-6. He will then head back to Seoul to hold his first solo concerts in three years in the city since his “Rise” concert in 2014.

YG Announced, “G-DRAGON’s fall was because of a timing problem. He did not get injured and finished the concert.”

[스포츠조선=조윤선 기자] G-DRAGON completed his “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E” concert in Bangkok, Thailand on July 8.

On July 8, a video showing G-DRAGON falling off the lift hole on the stage while singing “A-BOY” spread online, and many fans were worried that he might be greatly injured.

A YG Entertainment staff member said, “That was when he was supposed to come down on the lift, but G-DRAGON was so into his performance he forgot to take the lift. Fortunately, he landed well and didn’t get hurt. He said he would be ok to continue the concert, so we were able to finish the concert.”

G-DRGAON even participated in the after party and celebrated finishing the concert successfully with the staff.

Now that G-DRAGON finished his concert in Bangkok, he will be holding his next concert in Seattle, US on July 11.

YG Shares Update On G-Dragon’s Condition After Falling Through Hole On Stage

During the Bangkok leg of his world tour “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E.,” G-Dragon fell through a hole in the stage that had suddenly opened while he was performing.

A representative from his agency YG Entertainment explained what had happened, saying, “It was time for the lift to come down, but G-Dragon got so immersed in his performance that he missed the timing. Thankfully, he landed upright on his feet so he didn’t end up with any injuries. He said he could continue with the rest of his concert.”

It was also reported that G-Dragon was able to hang out with the staff members after the concert.
