Both of them immediately denied the claim in unison, and T.O.P added, “I think the other members are just joking around when they say that.”

As a follow-up question, Jung Hyung Don asked, “Do you guys contact each other regularly?”

Both members replied at the same time again, but their answers were different this time. While Seungri said they did, T.O.P hilariously replied, “We don’t contact each other.”

T.O.P immediately assured Seungri that he was only joking, and they went on to play the game.

The apple was placed between the members’ faces, and it was Seungri’s mission to move it all the way down.

During their appearance on the January 4 episode of “Weekly Idol,” BIGBANG talked about various topics, including member Seungri’s endeavors as a businessman.

After entering in the most ostentatious way possibleDefconn asked Seungri about his academy business. Seungri started off by saying, “I ran a vocal and dance academy, which was responsible for creating many idols.”

When asked for details, Seungri briefly answered, “There was a member of Teen Top and a variety of other junior singers.” As he talked, a caption appeared, listing several other students, including WINNER’s Kim Jinwoo, BTS’s J-Hope, VIXX’s Hyuk, and Lovelyz’s Mijoo.

Seungri continued on by revealing, “A little while ago, I closed it down because there was a bit of an issue. One of the teachers became romantically involved with a student. I got a call from the student’s parent, complaining that their daughter wasn’t returning home. What was I to do? Honestly, I wasn’t directly running the academy, so I closed it down to prevent a huge misunderstanding from happening.”

After hearing the surprising story, Jung Hyung Don asked the other members if they knew about it. They all answered it was their first time hearing about it, and Daesung clarified, “We only knew that he was closing the academy down.”

The members tried their hand at the show’s classic Random Play Dance, with interesting results.

[MD Review]BIGBANG Didn’t Shy Away From Showing their Funny Side on Inkigayo

[마이데일리=이승록 기자] BIGBANG appeared on Weekly Idol and showed all they got.

BIGBANG made an appearance on MBC every1’s Weekly Idol that aired on January 4.

It the first time that all the five BIGBANG members—G-DRAGON, TAEYANG, T.O.P, DAESUNG, and SEUNGRI—appeared on the show. In 2013, G-DRAGON appeared on the show after he released his solo album and promised that one day all five members will come on the show. He kept his promise after four years.

The hosts introduced them saying, “The legendary idol group is here”. BIGBANG members appeared on the set one by one on the red carpet riding in a mini car. They competed with each other to make a funnier appearance.

The members said hi in a way that they used to when they were rookies and explained that it is supposed to describe the BIGBANG. They said that they are a big fan of Weekly Idol and TAEYANG made everyone burst into laughter by confusing MBC every1 as a cable channel.

The emcees prepared a present for BIGBANG to congratulate them on their 10th anniversary. Members did not expect much and said, “What is this? It doesn’t look like something expensive” and “It’s really light.” Just like what they expected, it was a travel pillow and SEUNGRI made a joke and said, “Is this a toilet seat?”

Upon the emcees’ request, BIGBANG members took turns and introduced themselves as they did during their early days and seemed to find it embarrassing.

G-DRAGON played the apple game with Jeong Hyeong-don like the last time he appeared on the show four years ago. T.O.P and SEUNGRI, who are known to be not close with each other, also played the game and succeeded in rolling the apple. BIGBANG members failed jumping the rope as a group repeatedly and this made them even more competitive.

The members also did the random play dance. TAEYANG was worried and said, “We do a lot of tours, but the more we do tours, we stop practicing the choreography.” DAESUNG said, “If we dance like we do at concerts, we can even dance 32 times faster.”

Their songs were played, including “FXXK IT”, “LAST DANCE”, “BLUE”, and “LOSER”, but G-DRAGON said, “I’ve never done this before.” The emcees joked about their poor dancing and said, “Are you Heo Kyung-hwan?” and made everyone burst into laughter.

Meanwhile, the second part of Weekly Idol’s BIGBANG special will air on January 11.
