These are the words of Kangta, a member of a first generation idol group and a SM director. Like he said, it is becoming more popular as time goes by. It is the only group that has been on the rise for ten years. He’s talking about BIGBANG. 

There’s a limit to how far idol groups can go. After debut, idol groups’ popularity soars thanks to their huge fans bases. But after a while, new idol groups appear, and the public’s interest moves on. After their seven-year contract expires, members usually go their separate ways.  

This is why BIGBANG is even more special. The group’s presence is only getting stronger day by day. Not only as a group but also as individuals, the members are exerting great influence in all branches of the culture industry. 

According to experts, BIGBANG was able to make such remarkable achievements because the group has risen above the limitations of an idol group and is loved by all generations. There is no match for BIGBANG, which has become an iconic symbol of Korea’s pop music. 

The group has a host of hit songs that is loved by everyone. Last year alone, BIGBANG produced a number of hit songs through its MADE project. The group released two songs every month, and all the songs topped the charts in and out of the country.  

Now, the grand finale of BIGBANG’s MADE project is drawing near. The group’s MADE full album will be released on December 12. The title tracks are “FXXX IT” and “LAST DANCE”. Along with the title tracks, all the previously released MADE songs including “LOSER”, “BAE BAE”, “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE”, and “ZUTTER” are included in the album.  

After releasing the full album, BIGBANG is going to actively promote the album via various channels. Fans have been waiting for BIGBANG’s regular album for eight years. Therefore, BIGBANG will be closely interacting with their fans by doing V App shows, appearing on variety shows, attending award ceremonies, and holding concerts.  

It will be interesting to see how big a hit BIGBANG’s new album will be. And, we only have to wait a day to find out.

[OSEN=선미경 기자] BIGBANG is to make a comeback soon, and naturally, the group is expected to take the charts by storm.  

BIGBANG is to release its third regular album after an eight-year break. It will be the grand finale to BIGBANG’s MADE series albums that were released last year and the icing on the cake of BIGBANG’s 10^th anniversary celebrations. The album is to be released on December 12, and teasers have been released to raise expectations. 

BIGBANG’s comeback was announced quite a while ago. News of BIGBANG shooting new music videos and recording new songs had been posted on YG and YANG HYUN SUK’s SNS pages. After the release date has been finalized, YG gave little hints one by one about BIGBANG’s new songs and made the fans more excited about the new album. 

Because people have deep trust in BIGBANG’s music, the group’s three new songs are expected to rock the charts and set new records. BIGBANG’s songs always top the charts upon release. This is possible because not only BIGBANG’s fans but also people in and out the country trust that BIGBANG’s music is going to be good. The songs in BIGBANG’s new album will most certainly dominate the charts. 

It is taken for granted that BIGBANG’s new songs are going to top the charts even before the songs are released. It is only natural as there is always a great chemistry between G-DRAGON, YG producer TEDDY and the other members. 

The album will consist of songs that were released last year and three new songs: “FXXX IT”, “LAST DANCE” and “GIRLFRIEND”. “FXXX IT”, one of the title songs, is a medium-tempo hiphop song that has witty exciting lyrics. 

“LAST DANCE”, the other title song, is a slow R&B song, completely different from “FXXX IT”. “GIRLFRIEND” is a song written and composed by G-DRAGON and very different from the two title tracks. All the three songs each show a different side of BIGBANG.

After the release of BIGBANG new album, all the songs in the album are likely to enter the charts and take all the top spots. Even the songs that were released last year such as “LOSER”, “BANG BANG BANG”, and “BAE BAE’ are likely to reenter the charts. BIGBANG’s comeback will provide an opportunity to group’s huge popularity and strong presence.
