Kangta Shares Why He’s Most Impressed By Junior Group BIGBANG

Kangta

On the October 31 episode of JTBC talk show “Abnormal Summit,” Kangta makes an appearance as the weekly representative for South Korea.

During the show, Kangta is asked by Sung Si Kyung, “Are there any hoobaes (junior artists/groups) that make you think, ‘Wow, this hoobae is something else?'”

Kangta responds, “Yes, I felt that way about this hoobae since long ago, but these days, they are even more marvelous.”

When asked who he is referring to, Kangta surprisingly names a non-SM artist, BIGBANG.

He explains, “Rather than losing steam [as they progress], they gain even more. There aren’t actually many instances like this. In our country, at least in idol history, I think it’s the first time [that an idol group has gotten more popular over time].”

Jeon Hyun Moo jokes, “I thought you would name an SM [artist], but you [responded] quite conscientiously.”

Do you agree with Kangta’s comments?
