BIGBANG Is The Next Guest To Appear On CNN’s “Talk Asia”

CNN has announced BIGBANG as the next guest to be interviewed on “Talk Asia.” The group will be talking about their 10-year anniversary, as well as how they became a K-pop group that represents Korea.

CNN’s “Talk Asia” is a program that invites people who are representatives of different fields such as politics, economics, culture, entertainment, and sports. Previous guests on the show were Epik High, Kim Yuna, and Park Ji Sung.

On September 3, CNN released a teaser through Facebook, promoting BIGBANG’s upcoming appearance on the show. They released the second teaser on September 5. BIGBANG’s full interview on “Talk Asia” will be broadcast on September 8, 5:30 p.m. KST.

G-DRAGON Pulls Off High Fashion at a Traditional Market

[Dispatch=이수아기자] BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON proves that he is a true fashionista by pulling off some pretty difficult looks.

On September 4, G-DRAGON posted pictures of himself on his Instagram page. The pictures were taken at a traditional market.

But the market was only a mere background. G-DRAGON showed off unique fashion against the background of neon signs and old buildings.

His fashion was shocking indeed. In one picture, G-DRAGON wore a loose-fitting jacket, exposing both shoulders, on top of white jeans and sneakers.

In another picture, G-DRAGON pulled off a high fashion look wearing a glittering spangled jacket. His fierce eyes added to his charisma.

He also showed his affection for his cat. In one picture, G-DRAGON shows his usual self enjoying a hearty meal.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s 10^th anniversary concert was held successfully at the World Cup Stadium on August 20.

Minah Is G-Dragon’s Doppelganger For Latest “SNL Korea” Parody

Girl’s Day member Minah has returned to “SNL Korea” as the eighth season’s first host!

Since her debut, Minah has been known for looking similar to BIGBANG’s G-Dragon. In her last drama “My Fair Lady Kong Shim,” viewers even remarked that seeing Minah in a wig was like seeing G-Dragon make a surprise appearance.

Through the parody segment “Dubbing Theater” (tentative title), Minah transforms into G-Dragon, further confirming her uncanny resemblance to the BIGBANG member.

Using G-Dragon’s voice-over, she not only imitates G-Dragon’s movements, but his facial expressions as well. Her actions are hilariously similar to the actual footage from the documentary “BIGBANG: The Beginning.”

According to Nielsen Korea, the eighth season’s first episode garnered 1.8 percent ratings, with 2.5 percent ratings being its highest record. The next hosts for “SNL Korea” are set to be the members of 2PM, and will air on September 10.
