After revealing that GD&TOP will be releasing a new song as a part of BIGBANG’s “MADE Series – E,” there has been great anticipation surrounding the sub-unit.

YG Entertainment has revealed that the song will feature a more authentic and traditional hip hop style. Yang Hyun Suk, who is known to be strict and picky, actually approved the song immediately.

An inside source stated, “After hearing the title and song, Yang Hyun Suk instantly approved on getting work started for it.” The CEO’s quick approval is making fans even more excited about the upcoming song.

GD&TOP’s new music video will be released on August 5. Meanwhile, BIGBANG is currently on a world tour and will be performing in Malaysia on July 25.

BIGBANG‘s Seungri recently posted a screenshot on his Twitter of a netizen survey which had asked voters “Who is the best maknae idol who is loved by his hyungs?” Out of over 55,000 responses, Seungri took the top spot in the poll with 40.5% of votes. He was followed by SHINee‘s Taemin, EXO‘s Sehun, BEAST‘s Dongwoon, and Super Junior‘s Kyuhyun.

Seungri added the caption, “That’s right, I’m loved^^” and as his hashtag he wrote, “Our Seungri is good.”

His hashtag is a reference to fellow BIGBANG member G-Dragon’s recent comments on July 18's episode of “Infinity Challenge,” when Kwanghee claimed that he was capable of singing Seungri’s parts in BIGBANG songs. In the scene, G-Dragon responded by laughing and insisting several times “Our Seungri is a good singer, “and “Our Seungri is good.”

G-Dragon has since responded to Seungri’s tweet by simply replying, “I shouldn’t have said that.”

It seems like maknae Seungri might never let G-Dragon live those compliments down!

YG Entertainment recently announced that one of the newest additions to BIGBANG‘s “MADE” series will be a track by the group’s sub-unit GD&TOP.

All previous songs in the “MADE” series, which are set to be released as a full album in September, have been dropped on the first day of the month. However, this time around GD&TOP’s new track will be put out on August 5. YG Entertainment has also confirmed that the “MADE Series – E” single album will also include a song by the whole group.

As fans have been curious as to why the release is delayed for the August single, YG Entertainment has released a statement that explains their decision.

“BIGBANG will be returning to Korea in the beginning of August from their world tour,” says a representative of YG Entertainment. “They plan to communicate with their global fans directly through a live broadcast on ‘V‘ app on August 4, the day before their comeback.”

“The members can’t appear on shows very often, so they say that they need to ensure that they have even a bit of time to meet with their fans,” the representative adds. “They will take just a day’s rest and then do the ‘V’ app live broadcast.”

BIGBANG is currently on their 2015 world tour “MADE,” which will be stopping in Jakarta, Indonesia on August 1. After their live broadcast on August 4, their next tour stop is Shenzhen, China on August 7.
