8 Hype K-Pop Songs To Shout Your Lungs Out To

Aug 3, 2022

Music in all its genres can be quite therapeutic, and K-pop happens to be one of the leading genres that provides such comfort to its listeners. There are times when we prefer to be serenaded to sleep or consoled by a sad song that helps us get a good cry. But sometimes, instead of keeping it all in, we look instead for a loud song to blast that would allow us to shout at the top of our lungs and let all those feelings out.

If you’re looking to blow off some steam in that sense, here is a non-exhaustive selection of hype K-pop songs to shout your lungs out to.

1. BIGBANG – “BANG BANG BANG”

This jam may be an oldie, but it surely is a goldie! BIGBANG gifted us the ultimate party track, and once it’s played, you can’t help but scream your lungs out throughout the song. Let’s not forget the dope choreography that comes with it and makes the whole experience blissful.

2. PSY feat. BTSSuga – “That That”

Looking for a track to go nuts to especially after being locked up because of the pandemic? Seems like PSY is always your go-to for that. With Suga on his side, you can feel the crazy energy these two idols release through this fun duet. Now it’s your turn to have fun!

3. 2NE1 – “I AM THE BEST”

A boost of self-esteem and unscattered confidence is what we all need in our lives. Luckily, 2NE1 has delivered the official anthem of being one’s best version of themselves. The addictive chorus is bound to make you sing along, and the louder it is, the better!

4. MAMAMOO – “HIP”

This track honestly speaks for itself: its hip and groovy beat perfectly complements the sassy lyrics. The quartet has undoubtedly served us an epic sound, and the only way to fully enjoy it is to sing along as enthusiastically as possible!

5. MOBB Feat. KUSH – “HIT ME”

As if WINNER’s Song Mino and iKON’s Bobby teaming up was not blessing enough, releasing this amazing track that will get you on your feet from the first beat is all you need to get loud and let loose. What are you waiting for? Hit the play button!

6. Agust D – “Daechwita”

Remember when this absolute pop dropped? It sure got plenty of jaws dropping along to it. Agust D has got a song for the haters with a haunting chorus and fiery lyrics. Boy, does it feel good to sing along to and embrace the swag that comes with it!

7. BLACKPINK – “BOOMBAYAH”

BLACKPINK’s discography is an invitation to be a scream queen, but their debut single “BOOMBAYAH” is perhaps the track of choice to lose your vocal cords to. Wild, energetic, and also cute at times (#Oppa): it’s a recipe for ear-piercing karaoke time!

8. AleXa – “Wonderland”

Make sure you have room on your playlist for this vibrant tune by AleXa, which basically invites you to move your lips and shake your hips as the beat crescendoes. Talk about a summer jam!

[Article] [YG Life] WINNER YOON X MINO Unveils Cover of BIGBANG’s ‘Still Life’

[뉴스엔=김명미 기자] YOON and MINO from WINNER covered BIGBANG’s ‘Still Life’.

YOON and MINO from group WINNER unveiled their cover of ‘Still Life’ on the 17th of July. The two opened up a whole new chapter with their reinterpretation of the song, decorated by YOON’s appealing voice and MINO’s dynamic rapping.

YOON sang TAEYANG and DAESUNG’s parts and once again lived up to his reputation of being a ‘must-listen to’ vocalist. His soulful tone added to his explosive voice added even more loneliness to the song, and his ability to control the strength of his voice and emotions gave a deep lingering feeling to the viewers.

MINO presented his very own style of rap unlike G-DRAGON and TOP. The lyrics he wrote such as ‘The sigh of a mature dreamer overlaps with my very self’ showed MJINO’s own philosophical thoughts. His cover of the song again confirmed his unrivaled artistic senses with the structured rhymes and his distinctive lyrics.

The dynamic yet calm stage directions, which almost seemed like a music video, also stressed the two artists’ strengths. The set and props represented the flow in time, and the pin lights and special effects such as lightening and volcanic ash made viewers fall into the clip even more.

[Article] [YG Life] G-DRAGON Reinterprets Elvis Presley’s Song…Collaboration With Baz Luhrmann

[헤럴드경제=고승희 기자] G-DRAGON from group BIGBANG reinterpreted Elvis Presley’s song with his own emotions.

According to YG Entertainment on the 18th, G-DRAGON unveiled the homage clip of ‘Cant Help Falling in Love’ on his official YouTube account.

G-DRAGON rearranged and sung Elvis Presley’s song, and Baz Luhrmann directed the video.

G-DRAGON’s ‘Can’t Help But Falling in Love’ had different charms compared to the original song. His quietly reciting vocals were added on to the piano sound, creating a light yet lonely atmosphere.

But the twist begins half way through the song. Along with a faster tempo, the sound turns into a rock-band sound, and the electric guitar creates perfect harmony with the intense drum beats. This song showed G-DRAGON’s vast musical spectrum.

In particular, the clip resembled an art piece with visualist Baz Luhrmann, who’s a representative director of Hollywood, directing the clip.

Director Baz Luhrmann, has been receiving positive reviews from the public with his recently released film ‘Elvis’. The movie depicts the music, stage, and life of the unknown singer “Elvis” (Austin Butler), who was a truck driver, and the process of him meeting the star maker “Tom Parker” (Tom Hanks) who recognized him right away to become an one and only legend.
