BIGBANG is sweeping music charts in and out of the country upon their comeback, living up to their name once again.

BIGBANG’s new single album “M” released on May 1 at 0 o’clock (KST) is topping Top Singles Songs chart, which is iTunes’ main single chart, in 10 countries: Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Philippines, Romania, Singapore, Thailand, Taiwan, and Vietnam, as of May 1 at 7am. The single has two new songs, “LOSER” and “BAE BAE”.

In addition, the single album is in top ten places in the iTunes chart of total 22 countries: in the 2nd place in Argentina, Paraguay, and Latvia, 3rd in Cambodia and Sweden, 7th in New Zealand, Finland, and Brunei, 8th in Columbia and Mexico, and 10th in Canada and Czech Republic.

The new songs’ music videos are also creating sensation, too. The music video of “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” surpassed 1.6 million views and 1.4 million views respectively, within eight hours from their release at 0 o’clock on May 1. The two videos are drawing keen attention on-line, with different feels and appeals.

“LOSER” is a song that talks about the feelings of a loner. Its beat is not strong and the tempo is not quick, but one can instantly tell it is a BIGBANG song once hearing it. The calm and rhythmical rap and catchy repeat part of the song captivate listeners. T.O.P and G-DRAGON took part in writing the lyrics, TAEYANG in composing the melody, and TEDDY supported BIGBANG members for producing.

“BAE BAE” is a song of a completely different genre. G-DRAGON and T.O.P took part in writing the melody and lyrics of the song. TEDDY also worked with BIGBANG members, in writing the lyrics, composing the melody, and arranging the entire song. Quick-tempoed rap in the beginning arouses curiosity, then, the tender vocal follows to mesmerize listeners. The instrumental accompaniment is rather simple to the extent that it feels like a dream. Generally, the song has some experimental elements that are colorful and dynamic, but subtly catchy at the same time.

Along with the release of new albums, BIGBANG will continue their world tour that began from Seoul concert in April this year until 2016, to hold 70 concerts in 15 countries in Asia, America, and other regions, to meet 1.4 million fans around the world.

BIGBANG gives the first TV performance for their comeback in SBS “INKIGAYO” to be aired on the 3 this month, to meet fans who have long been waiting for BIGBANG’s shining performance.
