The movie OUT OF CONTROL is a German Chinese co-production, financed by Dreams of Dragon (Wilson Qui). The budget is in the region of 15 Million Euros (high for a German production company). It is being filmed at various locations in Germany with filming starting 22nd February for an estimated 46+ shooting day schedule. Locations include Berlin, Cologne, D?sseldorf, Wuppertal, Bergisch, Mettmann, Bad Oeynhausen, Rothenburg ob der Tauber, Cochem and Aldenhoven. Scenes like the ones filmed at Bad Oeynhausen in late February were mainly done with the stunt-crew and doubles. Actors here will only be seen in close-ups.

The cast consists of Chinese, German and other international actors. The movie is being filmed in each actors own language (Choi Seung Hyun = Korean, Cecilia Cheung = Cantonese etc), the film set language is English (local commnication during filming). The full movie will be dubbed into Mandarin.

Official Press Release:  [Press Release] Action Thriller 'Out of Control' gets underway in Germany

The movie is expected to come into Chinese cinemas Autumn 2016. A German cinema date is unfortunately currently not expected.

The storyline of the movie is about a criminal blackmailing owners of 30 high-end limousines via a computer virus. The movie involves many stunt scenes with chasing cars and explosions. The movie begins with the female lead being kidnapped during the Berlin Film Festival ?BERLINALE? (shooting of some of the scenes took place during BERLINALE Feb 2016). The female character is called Lucy Lin. The bad guy is called ?Kayser? And there is an Interpol agent named Tom Young who is going after Kayser.

Some of the action stunts for the movie were filmed in Berlin and at Bad Oeynhausen ? excerpts of these can be seen below. Please note these photos are from filming the stunt scenes and do not include T.O.P. However ?an Asian action star? was present during the shooting of the Berlin action scenes (we assume this is Cecilia Cheung) .

Dreams of Dragon Strikes Three Year Deal With China Film Group

Chinese production house Dreams Of Dragon Pictures has signed a three year deal with China Film Company, part of state-owned giant China Film Group.

The deal, described as a strategic three-year partnership, spans film investment, development, production and distribution.

They said that looking at 20 films across a broad range of genres and two blockbusters: an epic love story written by Wang Hui-ling (Lust Caution, Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon); and a $200 million futuristic disaster film that will include Hollywood talent.

DDP, founded in 2008, is best known for its investment in Cloud Atlas, which achieved a higher box office in China $27.8 ,million) than the U.S. ($27.1 million). The company has also been involved in Heaven Eternal, Earth Everlasting, and The Man Behind The Court Yard House, and Silent Witness. It currently has a development slate of more than 40 original film projects.
