BIGBANG’s Taeyang Drops Fierce New Profile Photo After Signing Under THEBLACKLABEL

THEBLACKLABEL has dropped a new profile image for BIGBANG’s Taeyang!

On January 3, THEBLACKLABEL welcomed Taeyang to the agency with a fierce new profile picture along with the text, “Coming soon.”

Last month on December 26, Taeyang was revealed to have signed under THEBLACKLABEL. YG Entertainment further clarified, “There is no change in the fact that Taeyang is a BIGBANG member and part of the YG Family.”

Earlier on January 2, Taeyang also previewed a photo of him working at a recording studio, raising anticipation for his potential return with new music.

BIGBANG’s Daesung has shared his excitement for the next chapter of his career!

Last month, Daesung parted ways with YG Entertainment after 16 years. However, the agency emphasized that while Daesung has left the agency, he is not leaving BIGBANG. The same applies for fellow bandmate Taeyang who was announced to have signed with THEBLACKLABEL the same day.

On January 2, Daesung uploaded a video on his YouTube channel D’splay titled “One day, I got a mysterious diary.” In the video, Daesung zooms in on a sketchbook that captures his handwritten letter with drawings, expressing his gratitude for his time at YG Entertainment.

The following is his full letter:

Thank you. “Y”ou were “G”ood.

Thank you. I feel sincerely grateful [to YG Entertainment] for looking after me all these years and helping me grow into the person I am today. With deep gratitude in my heart, I embark on this new adventure.

I would be lying if I said I wasn’t scared. As nervous as I am about taking this bold step forward, I believe it will definitely be worth it in the end.

The year 2023 is approaching. Without an inkling as to what the future holds, I take this step forward into the unknown with only a brave heart.

And I intend to walk down this road with stoic determination. Though I am still quite inexperienced and lacking in many ways, I hope you will continue to show your love and support for my journey. Thank you.

P.S. Someone once said, “Nothing lasts forever.” No. Some things last. Forever…BIGBANG.

Dear All,

I meant to do this in 2020 already, but then hung in there until now, but after 8+ years running this website and its Social Media Channels all on my own, I decided to phase out this website. With BIGBANG coming back for one more song with STILL LIFE to then disappear again, I decided to now stop this website apart from some automatic updates - everything else will only be updated irregularly.

The website will remain online for now. However, any update that requires a manual posting will only be done very selectively and at (most) times not at all.

With this said, thank you for all your support over the past 8+ years.
