The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for male idol groups!
The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community indexes of various boy groups, using big data collected from June 12 to July 12.
BTS topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 10,128,031, marking a 47.99 percent increase in their score since June. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “ARMY Day,” “Forever We Are Young,” and “full group,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “congratulate,” “release,” and “surpass.” BTS’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 94.91 percent positive reactions.
SEVENTEEN took second place for July with a brand reputation index of 6,230,280, while BIGBANG ranked third with a score of 3,342,244.
SHINee held onto their spot at fourth place with a brand reputation index of 2,555,577, and EXO came in at a close fifth with a brand reputation index of 2,425,301, marking a 9.32 percent increase in their score since June
