BIGBANG’s Daesung launched his solo Japanese arena tour encore concert over two days, gathering over 26,000 fans.
After successfully completing his solo arena tour D-Lite DLive 2014 in Japan D’slove in 2014, gathering 170,000 fans to 15 concerts in eight cities, Daesung launched the encore concert Encore!! 3D Tour [D-Lite DLive D’slove] on January 31 and February 1 in Yoyogi National Gymnasium.
Although it was an encore concert, Daesung added new songs from the first original album D’slove, which he had not performed during the tour, presenting a concert with new content.
During the February 1 Tokyo concert, Linda Yamamoto, who is the original singer of the song Donimo Tomaranai, made a surprise appearance.
Daesung covered the Japanese hit Donimo Tomaranai and included it in his mini album D-Lite, which was released in October 2014, leading to the collaboration performance with Linda Yamamoto.
At the time, Linda Yamamoto had said, “I’m happy that you sang Donimo Tomaranai with good feelings. I enjoyed the chorus and please enjoy singing the song on stage too. Should I dance as I join you?” expressing her support for the BIGBANG member.
She gladly accepted the offer to appear in Daesung’s encore concert, performing on stage.
While singing Donimo Tomaranai, Daesung shouted “Linda Yamamoto” and the singer appeared on stage, showing perfect teamwork, which made it hard to believe it was their first time performing together. They thrilled over 13,000 audience members.
Having successfully completed his Tokyo concert, Daesung will be wrapping up his encore concert by performing in Osaka-ko Hall on February 10 and 11.

DAESUNG’s Collabo with Yamamoto Linda Electrifies 26,000 Fans
[???? ??? ??] BIGBANG’s DAESUNG kick started his Japan solo arena tour encore concert in huge success, attracting 26,000 fans for 2 days.YG Entertainment said on Feb 2 that DAESUNG, after successfully finishing the D-LITE DLive 2014 in Japan~D’slove~ across 8 cities performing 15 times joined by 170,000 fans, was back in Tokyo’s Yoyogi National Stadium for his encore concert on Jan 31 and Feb 1. It was held under the title “Encore!! 3D Tour [D-LITE DLive D'slove].”
In the encore tour, DAESUNG added tracks from his first original album “D’slove” which he did not showcase in the tour. The encore concert was renewed for the fans.
His concert on Feb 1 attracted more attention than any as he was joined by the Japanese singer Yamamoto Linda, famously known for her mega-hit track “Donimo Tomaranai.”
Last December, DAESUNG included a cover of Yamamoto’s song in his mini album “D-Lite” released in Japan. This is how the collaboration with the original artist was able to happen.
Yamamoto Linda once commented, “I am happy that he sang my song with much delight. The chorus was fun. Please have fun on stage. Maybe I shall join you sometime,” and with that she happily took the offer to collaborate and stood on stage for DAESUNG’s latest concert.
When singing “Donimo Tomaranai,” DAESUNG shouted “Yamamoto Linda,” who actually appeared on stage. The breath-taking harmony between the two simply blew the minds of the 13,000 audiences.
Now that he is done with the Tokyo concert, DAESUNG will move on to Osaka to perform on Feb 10 and 11 at the Osaka Castle, putting an end to his encore tour.

BIGBANG singer Daesung met with 26,000 fans at his encore concert for his solo arena tour.Daesung, who completed his D-Lite DLive 2014 in Japan~D’slove~ solo arena tour last year, began his encore concert, Encore!! 3D Tour [D-LITE Dlive D’slove] on Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 in Tokyo, Japan.
Although this was an encore tour, Daesung performed a song that he did not sing at his last tour. During the second day of his encore tour, he also held a surprise concert with Linda Yamamoto, the original singer of the Japanese hit "Dou Ni Mo Tomaranai."
Daesung covered the song on his 2012 solo EP, "D-Lite."
“I’m so happy that you sang my song,” Yamamoto said during the performance. “The chorus is fun. Let's enjoy the stage. Shall I dance too?”
