BIGBANG goes back to their roots as they reminisce their training and pre-debut days onYoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook. 

As the group partcipated in the episode filming of Yoo Hee Yeol’s Sketchbook last June 2nd, they members confessed that they experienced the happiest times during the training and early debut part of their careers. After the confession, all five members rushed backstage and got dressed into the outfits they used during their early debut days.

Bringing back the concepts used in 2006, Yoo Hee Yeol played along and asked what they are looking forward to in the future. The members playfully replied, “We haven’t seen the future yet, but we hope to be popular.” 

BIGBANG managed to bring laughter on set as they introduced their track “Lies,” which was released in 2008, further hyping the audience that the track is predicted to be popular on various college festivals.

As they performed, Yoo Hee Yeol joined them for a piano version of the track followed by a rock version.

[OSEN=??? ??] BIGBANG is definitely providing a source of entertainment for the fans. It is the two completely different charms—powerful “BANG BANG BANG” and an easygoing, chilled “WE LIKE 2 PARTY.”

At 12am of June 1, BIGBANG unveiled the second album “A” of the MADE SERIES. The album features “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY,” and these two tracks are quite a change from the previous “LOSER” and “BAE BAE.” Fans are truly entertained by BIGBANG’s different colors.

“BANG BANG BANG” is said to be an extension of “FANTASTIC BABY” and “LIES,” with fast and powerful beat that leaves a strong impression. It is dynamic yet upbeat, drawing in the listeners.

About “BANG BANG BANG,” GD once explained, “The song reminds me of a powerful performance that is associated with BIGBANG. ‘LOSER’ and ‘BAE BAE’ are more of sentimental tracks, while this one is upbeat and fun like ‘FANTASTIC BABY’”.



The music video of “BANG BANG BANG” unveiled on the same day as the track itself attracted much attention with its fiery power. BIGBANG with vivid makeup appears in the dark, expressing their performance in such dynamic ways. It is like a blockbuster movie. The video featuring BIGBANG’s charisma and their identity are arousing much attention in the music world. 

On the other hand, “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” captures BIGBANG in the most candid selves. It is different to “BANG BANG BANG” in the sense that they look nothing like themselves in the other track. From the famous subway appearance to Jeju island, BIGBANG is featured living their daily lives.

They let go of their charisma and chill out in the video, being playful with each other. It is almost child-like. They doodle on DAESUNG’s face while he is fast asleep. All of these look very natural.

They unveiled the performance for the first time on Mnet’s M Countdown on June 4. Fans’ reaction was simply mind-blowing. For “BANG BANG BANG” they showcased a sharp and structured choreography with powerful ambience, while for “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” they sang all chilled and relaxed. Both left such powerful impressions.

BIGBANG is certainly entertaining the viewers from “LOSER,” “BAE BAE,” “BANG BANG BANG” to “WE LIKE 2 PARTY,” which are all part of the MADE Project. Each song carries different colors. With two more singles left to be unveiled until August, they are attracting much attention already for their future songs.

On June 4, BIGBANG appeared on Mnet’s M Countdown to perform their newest tracks “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY.”

They sang with their youthful energy in “WE LIKE 2 PARTY.” They looked so liberated and relaxed. Their unique voices and the harmony with the song were simply incredible. They moved on to display the powerful charisma in “BANG BANG BANG.” Dynamic choreography and the overpowering aura. Their live performance was actually better than their recorded tracks. It was near perfect.

“BANG BANG BANG” revealed at 0 hour of June 1 swept across 7 major charts like Olleh, Mnet, Monkey 3, Naver Music, Soribada and Cyworld Music. The second title track “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” followed their May’s hit tracks “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” to be ranked in the top range. This is their second round of sensation.

They are performing extremely well on real-time charts of Melon, Genie, Olleh, Monkey 3, Soribada, and Naver Music as well as of 2pm on June 4. They stand solidly in the top position despite new songs by other artists.

The music videos of their newest tracks are also spotlighted by foreign media like Billboard and FUSE TV. At 2pm on Thursday it hit 7.05 million viewers, attracting more than 7 million in just 3 days.

Other artists like Kim Sung Kyu, BESTie, SHINee, CLC, EXO, N. Flying, Oh My Girl, Kara, HIGH4, HOTSHOT, History, Jeon Hyo Seong, Jung Joon Young Band and many more appeared on stage to deliver some dynamic performances.

BIGBANG say they're loners on 'Sketchbook'

The boys of BIGBANG said that they're kind of loners during filming for the upcoming episode of 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook'.

G-Dragon was asked when he most felt like a "Loser", and he answered, "It seems like I'd have a lot of friends, but I don't. There are times that my phone doesn't ring all day. I feel empty when I'm lonely." T.O.P added, "I feel really empty after wrapping up our performances and coming down from the stage. I feel like a real loser."

Daesung said that his two fellow members weren't alone, commenting, "I don't understand the people who go around with backup cellphone batteries. My cellphone's battery has never gone below 95%."

Seungri on the other hand had something a bit more funny to mention. He said, "I want G-Dragon hyung to compose more songs, but he's too busy going to international fashion shows."

Taeyang hilariously dishes on G-Dragon's method of seduction

Oh, you're going to have a super fun time with BIGBANG on 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' this week.  

Bits of their conversation during the recording of their guest appearance are already coming out to everybody's amusement, including Taeyang giving the dirt on how G-Dragon would win the ladies over.  During the interview portion in which they were asked about the other members' merits, Taeyang revealed G-Dragon was good at the push-and-pull method of flirting and told a story of a past episode. 

He said, "If G-Dragon meets a woman he's interested in, he would suddenly try to win her favor by saying that he's hurt and needs consolation," resulting in a taken aback G-Dragon. 

In return, Seungri said that Taeyang was good at doing handstands, saying, "When I entered YG, I saw Taeyang do a handstand after taking a shower and felt, 'So this is YG,'" making everyone laugh.  Taeyang held up his hands and shook them as if he was denying such a thing happened, but then proceeded to reenact the scene by pretending to take a shower and then doing a handstand.

MC Yoo Hee Yeol said, "Did you feel that this was YG because the shape of the handstand makes a 'Y'?"

BIGBANG’s TAEYANG on Sketchbook: “GD Expert in Dating, Plays Hard To Get”

[TV???=??? ??] BIGBANG’s TAEYANG appeared on the program “Sketchbook” and unveiled that GD is an expert in dating, apparently playing hard-to-get.

On June 2 the quintet filmed the program that will be aired though KBS 2. BIGBANG is arousing much attention since their release of album “A,” sweeping across all music charts.

Appearing from where the audience was seated, BIGBANG left them in awe by delivering quality performances.

In the session where they complement each other, TAEYANG commented that GD is good at playing hard-to-get, explaining it with an anecdote. “When GD meets a girl he likes, he pretends that he is suddenly sick and that he is in need of company.” GD looked surprised by this sudden revelation.

SEUNGRI said TAEYANG is good at doing headstand, and added, “When I just joined YG, I saw TAEYANG do a headstand right after he took a shower. Then I thought, so this is what YG is like,” making everyone laugh. TAEYANG denied it, but he replayed the exact scene, surprising everyone. 

The MC, Yoo Hee Yeol, added, “Did you think this was YG-like because he is in a shape of Y when he does the headstand?” making everyone laugh once again.

The program featuring Yoon Jong Shin, BIGBANG and Urban Jakapa will be aired at 11:35 pm on KBS2 on June 5.
