BIGBANG’s “We Like 2 Party” Deemed Unfit for Broadcast by KBS

BIGBANG’s “We Like 2 Party” Deemed Unfit for Broadcast by KBS

BIGBANG‘s new single “We Like 2 Party” has been ruled unfit for broadcast by broadcaster KBS.

The song failed to meet the censorship board’s criteria due to the lyrics including brand names and inappropriate language. Bang Bang Bang,” which also dropped on June 1 as a part of Made Series–A,” managed to pass the evaluation.

According to a representative of YG Entertainment, they have yet to decide on whether they will edit the lyrics and/or submit it for reassessment.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG swept the charts last month with their impressive comeback, and the domination seems to continue with the second round of their “Made Series.

[Review IS] BIGBANG vs. BIGBANG, You May See Only BIGBANG Songs on Charts

[?????=??? ??] Anybody would be dumbfounded to current situation on music charts.

BIGBANG swept music charts once again with new release “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY”. As “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” released last month are still in top places on charts, BIGBANG now has four songs in top 10. BIGBANG releases new songs until September this year, so you may see only BIGBANG songs in the top 20 of music charts by then.

BIGBANG released their second album “A” of “MADE SERIES”, on the 2nd of June. Two new songs “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” took the No.1 and No.2 on the real-time chart of nine music-streaming websites only naturally, upon their release.

As already known, “BANG BANG BANG” is a cool song that goes well with summer, which is as exciting as “FANTASTIC BABY”. Its dynamic and exciting feel creates a perfect harmony with the summer season, so the song is expected to stay in top places on charts until the end of this summer. It may be the song you can hear around the clock near beach.

TAEYANG’s sophisticated vocal and T.O.P’s powerful rap sound captivating. A kaleidoscopic development within the song just like that of “FANTASTIC BABY” also sounds very interesting.

“WE LIKE 2 PARTY” is a song of a sophisticated melody line like that of a Western pop song, which is perfectly sung by BIGBANG’s vocalists. Easy vocal of DAESUNG and SEUNGRI whose skills have further evolved, sounds comfortable. As the title itself tells, it is a typical party song that delivers young BIGBANG’s energy directly to listeners.

It seems that BIGBANG’s strategy is working once again. Success of the team’s strategy to release new songs every month to make the year 2015 the year of BIGBANG, is just around the corner.

New Songs’ Release Turned into Festival… BIGBANG’s DAY “BANG BANG BANG”

20150602_1433176517_65081100_1_99_20150602072404

[TV???=??? ??] BIGBANG’s comeback after three years of absence was so special. They prepared the most “BIGBANG-ish” time for fans who have been with them for 10 years.

On June 1, BIGBANG’s “COUNTDOWN LIVE” was live-broadcasted on NAVER’s STARCAST. BIGBANG appeared in the show as a complete team, to wait for the release of their new songs with fans. The youngest member SEUNGRI was the MC for “COUNTDOWN LIVE”, where BIGBANG members openly communicated with fans. They were like professionals when talking about music, but soon became fun boys in their twenties when talking between themselves.

As BIGBANG members have been a team for 10 years, they showed a deep bond among themselves. Their jokes for the other members were harsh, and the members freely went to bathroom while on air. Their easygoing and unaffected attitude gave a special fun to fans.

When the time for the release of new songs was imminent, BIGBANG members shouted countdown all together. They also expressed the joy by doing exciting dance. Rather than feeling nervous about the new release, BIGBANG enjoyed it like a festival.

BIGBANG’s “COUNTDOWN LIVE” was joined by 150,000 fans from the very beginning. At the moment of the release of new songs, the number of hits recorded unprecedented 440,000. That broke the team’s previous record of 130,000 simultaneous connections.

Such an unprecedented record was set on music charts, too. “BANG BANG BANG” included in album “A” released on the day at midnight swept the No.1 on music charts, followed by “WE LIKE 2 PARTY”, another song in “A”. Music fans are paying keen interest in how far and how long BIGBANG’s record will continue.

[Music Talk Talk] BIGBANG’s Power Growing Bigger… Beyond Imagination

201506020350776297_556ca9a14890b_99_20150602070903

[OSEN=??? ??] From May to August, will BIGBANG dominate the pop music world every month?

Idol group BIGBANG is turning the pop music scene into a BIGBANG world for two months in a row, releasing the second single album with even greater power. BIGBANG’s “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” released on the 1 of last month turned the month of May into a month of BIGBANG, and the team’s new song “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” unveiled on June 1 at midnight are also boasting a formidable power. It seems that this June will also be a “month of BIGBANG”.

”BANG BANG BANG” swept the No.1 on the chart of major music-streaming websites, upon its release. “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” took the No.2 place, dominating music charts upon the release, too. Notably, the two new songs took the No.1 and No.2 while “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” are still in high ranks on charts, so four BIGBANG songs are now in top 10 on charts, which is a rare case. It is a record that is hard to achieve especially nowadays when new songs are released every day.

“BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” are drawing keen attention with different feels. “BANG BANG BANG” is a song that could be called “BIGBANG-ish”, which creates an exciting mood with a strong beat and electronic sound, while “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” gives an easier, cooler, and more comfortable feel.

Upon the release of the two new songs, music fans are showing enthusiastic responses on major search engines. On Korea’s biggest music-streaming website Melon, more than 100,000 people listened to “BANG BANG BANG” within one hour from its release, even though it was unveiled in midnight. The name of BIGBANG and title of the new songs topped the real-time search word ranking of search engines, showing how big BIGBANG’s influence is in Korea’s music scene. In short, these records mean more than just high rankings on charts.

Notably, BIGBANG sweeping the No.1 on multiple charts simultaneously proves the fact that BIGBANG’s music appeals to a wider range of public along with their fans, that the public has keen interest in BIGBANG’s comeback and the team has a big influence.

BIGBANG’s big influence was proven not only in Korea but also in foreign countries. “LOSER” recorded the highest-ever record for a K-pop song on American iTunes chart, by taking the 40th place on the iTunes single hot 100 of the country. Plus, single album “A” that includes “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” took the No.1 on the iTunes main single chart of six countries: Azerbaijan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, and Thailand.

As BIGBANG is dominating the K-pop scene once again following their success in May, music fans are paying keen attention to what record they will set in this month. “LOSER” recorded a long-run hit staying in the top on charts for almost a month and achieved success in foreign countries including China, so a big attention is drawn to if “BANG BANG BANG” will break the record set by “LOSER”. “LOSER” stayed in the No.1 for nearly 20 days since its release, went down the rankings for a while, but retook the No.1 again on the 23rd day from its release. Finally, the No.1 place was taken by “BANG BANG BANG”.

Furthermore, as BIGBANG’s comeback that began last month will continue until September this year, it is expected that the rival of BIGBANG on charts will be BIGBANG themselves. It is not easy to take the No.1 on chart every time a singer releases new songs, for five months in a row. So, K-pop fans are showing keen interest in whether BIGBANG will maintain the “BIGBANG world” in the music scene until September.

Best Reaction video ever? BIGBANG react to 'BANG BANG BANG' MV

reactionvideoOur favorite boys are at it again. Along with dropping the MV for their newest track "BANG BANG BANG," BIGBANG also reacted to their own MV in a live starcast on Naver.

In the beginning of the video, the members are excitedly awaiting the release of the new MV by doing a wave and counting down the ten seconds right before it starts. Much of the group's dialogue was drowned out by the music, but at one point someone exclaims, "Yahhh~ it's so cool!" As soon as T.O.P's part is displayed on screen, we hear several females in the background let out squeals in elation.

Throughout the video, aside from a couple "Yahhhhhh"s and other random spurts, the BIGBANG members all sit pretty still wearing stoic poker faces.

[Billboard] BIGBANG Get Wild With New Single 'Bang Bang Bang' & Video

bigbang kpop2015d 650Making good on their promise to drop new music at the top of every month, BIGBANG revealed their latest creation, "Bang Bang Bang," with an out-there, potentially controversial music video.

"Bang Bang Bang" feels like a 2015 update of the band's 2012 EDM single "Fantastic Baby," which is the most-watched, non-PSY Korean video on YouTube. The new cut features bouncy, electro-pop production on the verses before it moves into a siren-like, trap-laden breakdown where G-Dragon sneers "bang bang bang!" After such an energetic verse, the trap section feels out of place and, due to the genre's time-change shift, screws with the song's stamina.

But "Bang" essentially stops at the 2:40 mark to revamp itself as a full-on party track with the trappy snares now replaced turbo-powered synths, as the guys lead a chanting, shouting chorus. It's a similar style to how "Fantastic Baby" ends, but now the vitality's been kicked up to a new level making this the perfect to track to end any concert with -- which was probably its initial mission.

Also like "Fantastic Baby" (not to mention "Bae Bae"), the new single's accompanying music video sees the band in a neon-flecked world where they guys rock everything from high-fashion (the band's leather coats are all on point) to unexpected accessories (TOP's bearskin hats, or Seungri's football pads) to looks that are boundary pushing (G-Dragon looks a bit like a new-age David Bowie when he's decked out in glitter and heavy eye-liner).

More or less every look is on point, with the the exception of a scene where we catch Seungri wearing a Native American war bonnet -- worn only by those who have earned the highest honors in their tribes. While this slip-up might have been excusable for a more localized Korean act, BIGBANG has toured around the world, has been exposed to multiple cultures and is part of YG Entertainment, a very globally minded record label. Someone should have caught that.

Controversy and questionable trap breakdowns aside, "Bang Bang Bang" is a banger that both longtime and international fans will devour quickly. "Bang Bang Bang" was released June 1 along with the double A-side single "We Like 2 Party," which will get its video revealed on June 5. For now, listen to "We Like 2 Party" via Spotify:

[Fuse] Listen to BIGBANG's Trappy New Banger, "Bang Bang Bang"

Enough BANG for ya? The Korean phenoms' latest comes with another out-of-control visual filled with loads of glitter, motorcycles and fluorescent hair colors

One of the top reasons we told you it was time to pay attention to BIGBANG was the K-pop phenoms' plan to release new music at the top of every month. As promised, on this first day of June, here's the guys' new track "Bang Bang Bang."

Their latest recalls past BIGBANG bangers like 2012's "Fantastic Baby" (a.k.a. the most-watched non-Psy Korean music video on YouTube) for being a nonstop party track that utilizes current trends. There's a '90s-inspired dance beat (very hot right now thanks to Diplo and Disclosure) before it moves into a trap-heavy breakdown (the type we've heard in recent hits like DJ Snake's "Turn Down for What" and Dillon Francis' "Get Low").

As expected, the accompanying music video is an over-the-top affair, with the guys rocking a slew of wild looks, hairdos and fashions in a neon-tinged world. Sometimes the costumes go a little too far (we're uncomfortable with Seungri's Native American headdress), but otherwise we're predicting this video to be one of K-pop's most watched clips by the end of 2015.

Last month, BIGBANG's two new hip hop singles "Loser" and "Bae Bae" tied a Billboard chart record previously set by Psy. But "Bang Bang Bang," along with its accompanying B-side "We Like 2 Party" (look out for its video on Friday!), look poised for even bigger things.
