Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has revealed its chart rankings for the week of January 12 to 18!

Overall Digital Chart + Streaming Chart

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon achieved a double crown on this week’s Circle charts with his hit single “HOME SWEET HOME” featuring Taeyang and Daesung, which topped both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart.

The top five songs on this week’s overall digital chart and streaming chart were exactly the same: “HOME SWEET HOME” came in at No. 1, BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” at No. 2, aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 3, Hwang Karam’s “I’m Firefly” at No. 4, and Rosé’s “toxic till the end” at No. 5.

IVE topped this week’s digital download chart with their new pre-release single “REBEL HEART,” which debuted at No. 1.

Park Ji Hyeon swept the next four spots on the chart with songs from his new mini album “OCEAN.” His title track “Sea Man” entered the chart at No. 2, followed by “Mokpo Blues” at No. 3, “We can do it” at No. 4, and “Farewell to the Port” at No. 5.

Album Chart

Park Ji Hyeon’s “OCEAN” debuted at No. 1 on this week’s physical album chart, while n.SSign’s mini album “Love Potion” shot to No. 2.

GFRIEND’s special album “Season of Memories” entered the chart at No. 3, and SEVENTEEN’s BSS swept the next two spots with their single album “TELEPARTY”: the KiT version of the album took No. 4 for the week, followed by the Weverse version at No. 5.

Global K-Pop Chart

The top five songs on this week’s global K-pop chart remained exactly the same as last week: Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” continued its reign at No. 1, with BTS’s Jimin’s “Who” at No. 2, aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 3, BABYMONSTER’s “DRIP” at No. 4 for the week, and Rosé’s “toxic till the end” at No. 5.

Social Chart

Jung Jae Il held onto his spot at No. 1 on this week’s social chart, trailed by Choi Yu Ree at No. 2, BABYMONSTER at No. 3, BLACKPINK at No. 4, and Lim Young Woong at No. 5.

SBS’s “Love Scout” continued its reign over this week’s rankings of the most buzzworthy dramas and actors!

For the second week in a row, “Love Scout” took No. 1 on Good Data Corporation’s weekly list of the TV dramas that generated the most buzz. The company determines each week’s rankings by collecting data from news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media about dramas that are either currently airing or set to air soon.

In addition to “Love Scout” topping the list of most buzzworthy dramas, star Lee Jun Hyuk remained No. 1 on the list of most buzzworthy cast members, while Han Ji Min came in at No. 3.

JTBC’s “The Tale of Lady Ok” swept the No. 2 spots on both lists, with leads Lim Ji Yeon and Choo Young Woo ranking No. 2 and No. 4 on the actor list this week.

tvN’s “When the Stars Gossip” held onto its spot at No. 3 on the drama list, and star Lee Min Ho stayed strong at No. 9 on the actor list.

MBC’s “Motel California” maintained its position at No. 4 on the drama list, while leads Lee Se Young and Na In Woo took No. 7 and No. 8 respectively on the actor list.

Billboard has published its World Albums chart for the week ending on January 25!

Stray Kids’ SKZHOP HIPTAPE “合 (HOP)” topped the World Albums chart for the fifth week in a row, and it also spent a fifth consecutive week on the Billboard 200 at No. 80.

BTS’s Jimin’s solo album “MUSE” stayed strong at No. 3 in its 26th week on the World Albums chart, in addition to setting a new record for the longest-charting K-pop solo album on the Billboard 200.

ENHYPEN’s “ROMANCE : UNTOLD” held steady at No. 5 in its 27th week on the World Albums chart, and BTS’s 2022 anthology album “Proof” similarly maintained its position at No. 6 in its 136th week on the chart.

LE SSERAFIM’s “CRAZY” remained unmoving at No. 7 in its 19th week on the chart, while ILLIT’s “I’LL LIKE YOU” rose to No. 8 in its 10th week.

Stray Kids’ “ATE” climbed back up to No. 9 in its 26th week on the chart, with ATEEZ’s “GOLDEN HOUR : Part.2” following at No. 10 in its ninth week.

TXT’s “The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY” took No. 13 in its 11th week on the chart, followed by NewJeans’ “Get Up” at No. 14 (in its 71st week), BTS’s Jin’s solo album “Happy” at No. 16 (in its ninth week), and SEVENTEEN’s “SPILL THE FEELS” at No. 17 (in its 13th week).

BIGBANG’s 2016 album “MADE” rose to No. 19 in its 14th non-consecutive week on the chart, trailed by SEVENTEEN’s “17 IS RIGHT HERE” at No. 20 in its 31st week.

aespa’s “Whiplash” came in at No. 21 in its 11th week on the chart, and ILLIT’s debut mini album “SUPER REAL ME” rounded out the top 25 in its 20th week.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from December 23, 2024 to January 23, 2025.

BLACKPINK continued their reign at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 11,241,702. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “Rosé,” “full group,” and “Jennie,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “look forward to,” “root for,” and “comeback.” BLACKPINK’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 93.20 percent positive reactions.

SEVENTEEN held onto their spot at second place with a brand reputation index of 8,026,659, marking a 33.56 percent increase in their score since December.

BTS similarly maintained their position at third place with a brand reputation index of 6,340,427, marking a 10.55 percent rise in their score since last month.

IVE rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 5,479,545, marking a 19.33 percent increase in their score since December.

Finally, aespa rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 5,150,630, marking an 11.52 percent rise in their score.

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for singers!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of singers’ media coverage, consumer participation, interaction, and community awareness indexes, using big data collected from December 25, 2024 to January 25, 2025.

BLACKPINK held onto their spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 6,960,114 for January.

SEVENTEEN also maintained their position at second place with a brand reputation index of 5,199,929 for the month.

Meanwhile, Lim Young Woong came in at a close third with a brand reputation index of 5,041,810.

BTS rose to fourth place with a brand reputation index of 4,518,425 for January.

IVE rounded out the top five with a brand reputation index of 4,158,597, marking a 3.17 percent increase in their score since December.
