TXT, IVE, ZEROBASEONE, NewJeans, PLAVE, G-Dragon, BTS, Jisoo, And Hearts2Hearts Earn Circle Million And Platinum Certifications

Circle Chart (formerly known as Gaon Chart) has announced its latest batch of official certifications!

In 2018, the Korea Music Content Industry Association implemented a new certification system for album sales, song downloads, and online streaming. Starting with music released on or after January 1, 2018, Circle Chart now certifies albums platinum once they reach 250,000 sales, while albums that have sold a million copies or more receive a “million” certification.

TXT earned two separate certifications this month: their 2022 mini album “minisode 2: Thursday’s Child” received a double million certification for over 2 million copies sold, while the Weverse version of their 2023 album “The Name Chapter: FREEFALL” was certified platinum after selling over 250,000 copies.

IVE’s latest mini album “IVE EMPATHY,” ZEROBASEONE’s recent mini album “BLUE PARADISE,” and NewJeans’ 2024 single album “How Sweet” all received official million certifications for selling over 1 million copies each.

PLAVE earned two separate certifications for their latest mini album “Caligo Pt.1.” The regular version of the mini album was certified triple platinum for selling over 750,000 copies, while the POCA version was certified platinum for over 250,000 copies sold.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon also received two separate certifications for his new solo album “Übermensch.” The regular version of the album was certified double platinum for selling over 500,000 copies, while the Nemo version was certified platinum for over 250,000 copies sold.

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo’s solo mini album “AMORTAGE” and Hearts2Hearts’ debut mini album “The Chase” were both certified platinum for selling over 250,000 copies each.

Finally, in the streaming category, BTS’s 2020 hit “Life Goes On” was certified platinum after surpassing 100 million streams.

Congratulations to all of the artists!
