February Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has revealed this month’s brand reputation rankings for all idol groups!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of various idol groups, using big data collected from January 12 to February 12.

IVE topped this month’s list with a brand reputation index of 6,762,275, marking a 23.41 percent increase in their score since January. High-ranking phrases in the group’s keyword analysis included “ATTITUDE,” “REBEL HEART,” and “million-seller,” while their highest-ranking related terms included “charming,” “powerful,” and “comeback.” IVE’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 92.95 percent positive reactions.

BLACKPINK took second place for the month with a brand reputation index of 6,598,735, while SEVENTEEN ranked third with a score of 5,413,201.

BTS came in fourth with a brand reputation index of 4,539,686, and aespa rounded out the top five with a score of 4,061,320 for February.

MBC’s new variety show “Good Day” has released a new teaser for its highly anticipated first episode!

Helmed by “Infinite Challenge” PD Kim Tae Ho, “Good Day” is a music project where G-Dragon collaborates with various individuals from different fields to create the song of the year. Taking on the role of producer, G-Dragon will transform their stories into music, offering viewers an in-depth look at his creative process through a reality show format.

The newly released teaser highlights the diverse and unexpected meetings that unfold for G-Dragon’s music project, setting the stage for an exciting premiere.

One of the most anticipated reunions is between G-Dragon and Jung Hyung Don, whose legendary chemistry on “Infinite Challenge” remains unforgettable. Their long-awaited meetup exudes a hilarious heart-fluttering tension, almost reminiscent of a dating reality show.

But the nostalgia takes a comedic turn when Defconn suddenly tells G-Dragon, “You should join the celebrity special of ‘I Am Solo‘!” Laughing, G-Dragon jokes, “But I am indeed solo right now!” Jung Hyung Don, feigning jealousy, quips, “Are you moving on already?”—leading to bursts of laughter.

Another clip features Kian84, who finally fulfills his dream of meeting G-Dragon. His quirky personality shines through as he bombards G-Dragon with endless curiosity, even going so far as to dream up a new unit with G-Dragon and Code Kunst.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon’s long-awaited meeting with fellow 1988-born star Kim Soo Hyun is also revealed. Instantly clicking, the two expand their “’88 Universe” by planning get-togethers with other celebrity peers, including Jung Hae In, Yim Si Wan, Lee Soo Hyuk, and Kwanghee, raising anticipation for more star-studded moments.

Monthly Digital Chart

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon topped the overall digital chart for January with his hit single “HOME SWEET HOME” (featuring Taeyang and Daesung), which rose to No. 1.

BLACKPINK’s Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” stayed strong at No. 2, followed by aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 3, Hwang Karam’s “I’m Firefly” at No. 4, and Rosé’s “toxic till the end” at No. 5.

Weekly Digital Chart + Streaming Chart

G-Dragon also maintained his double crown on this week’s Circle charts, with “HOME SWEET HOME” remaining No. 1 on both the overall digital chart and the streaming chart.

The top five songs on this week’s overall chart and streaming chart were exactly the same: “HOME SWEET HOME” came in at No. 1, Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” at No. 2, aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 3, IVE’s “REBEL HEART” at No. 4, and Hwang Karam’s “I’m Firefly” at No. 5.

Monthly Streaming Chart

Rosé and Bruno Mars achieved a double crown on the monthly charts for January, where “APT.” continued its reign at No. 1 on both the streaming chart and the global K-pop chart.

The top four songs on the streaming chart for January remained the same as last month: “APT.” came in at No. 1, G-Dragon’s “HOME SWEET HOME” at No. 2, aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 3, and Hwang Karam’s “I’m Firefly” at No. 4.

Finally, Rosé’s “toxic till the end” rounded out the top five for the month.

SEVENTEEN’s BSS topped the physical album chart for January with their latest single album “TELEPARTY,” which debuted at No. 1.

JYP Entertainment’s new boy group KickFlip’s debut mini album “Flip it, Kick it!” entered the chart at No. 2, trailed by Park Ji Hyeon’s “OCEAN” at No. 3, n.SSign’s “Love Potion” at No. 4, and (G)I-DLE’s Minnie’s solo debut mini album “HER” at No. 5.

Weekly Album Chart

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk topped this week’s physical album chart with his solo debut mini album “EXPLORER,” which claimed two of the top four spots. The regular version of the mini album debuted at No. 1, while the Nemo version charted separately at No. 4.

WEi’s “The Feelings” took No. 2 on this week’s chart, followed by Kep1er’s “TIPI-TAP” at No. 3 and the Nemo version of BABYMONSTER’s “DRIP” at No. 5.

SHINee’s Onew topped the digital download chart for January with his solo song “Winner,” which debuted at No. 1.

IVE’s “REBEL HEART” debuted at No. 2 on the monthly chart, while BSS’s “CBZ (Prime Time)” entered the chart at No. 3 and Hwang Karam’s “I’m Firefly” stayed strong at No. 4.

Finally, BOYNEXTDOOR’s “IF I SAY, I LOVE YOU” rounded out the top five for January.

Weekly Download Chart

SEVENTEEN’s Jeonghan topped the weekly digital download chart with his solo single “Better Half” featuring Omoinotake.

Eunhyuk’s new solo debut track “UP N DOWN” entered the chart at No. 2, while IVE’s “REBEL HEART” held relatively steady at No. 3.

BTS’s Jin’s new song “Close to You” (from the soundtrack of tvN’s “When the Stars Gossip”) debuted at No. 4, and BLACKPINK’s Jennie’s new single “Love Hangover” featuring Dominic Fike entered the chart at No. 5.

Monthly Global K-Pop Chart

Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” held onto its spot at No. 1 on the global K-pop chart for January, while aespa’s “Whiplash” similarly maintained its position at No. 2.

BTS’s Jimin’s solo hit “Who” climbed to No. 3 for the month, with BABYMONSTER’s “DRIP” rising to No. 4 and G-Dragon’s “HOME SWEET HOME” rounding out the top five.

Weekly Global K-Pop Chart

The top five songs on this week’s global K-pop chart remained exactly the same as last week: Rosé and Bruno Mars’ “APT.” continued its streak at No. 1, with aespa’s “Whiplash” at No. 2, Jimin’s “Who” at No. 3, BABYMONSTER’s “DRIP” at No. 4, and IVE’s “REBEL HEART” at No. 5.
