[스포츠조선닷컴=이지현 기자] A special edition of TAEYANG’s new album that uses real flowers in the jacket will be released offline on August 22. 

YG Entertainment announced at 5 PM on August 14 the starting date of the pre-order for TAEYANG’s “WHITE NIGHT” and revealed the jacket of the album. 

The “WHITE NIGHT” will be released with three different album jackets: white, red, and blue. Interesting enough, real flowers are used in all of them. 

The album jacket is 100% handmade, making the album more special like artwork. 

Aside from using real flowers in the album jacket, TAEYANG has also shot the music videos in LA and Alaska, showing that he is putting extra care into his new album. 

The hit producers TEDDY and KUSH as well as new song writers participated in TAEYANG’s “WHITE NIGHT” album. The title songs of the album are “DARLING” and “WAKE ME UP”. It also has a variety of other songs that is very much TAEYANG like. 

The “WHITE NIGHT” album will be revealed online at 6 PM on August 16. 

On August 26-27, TAEYANG will hold a concert at the Jamsil Stadium as part of his “TAEYANG 2017 WOLRD TOUR IN SEOUL”. He will continue on his tour afterwards in North America and Asia.

[스포츠월드=윤기백 기자] The teaser video of TAEYANG’s new song “DARLING” has been revealed, and it flaunts a phenomenal scale. 

With only two days to go until TAEYANG’s comeback, YG Entertainment posted a teaser video of “DARLING”, the title track of his comeback album “WHITE NIGHT”, on its official blog. 

The teaser video boasts a phenomenal scale. The huge sand winds, the top of a skyscraper that has a bird’s eye view of the city, and Alaska’s mountains covered with snow adds a majestic feel to the music video. The video features TAEYANG running against the sand winds and standing alone on ice-covered mountains.   

A small part of the song was revealed too. TAEYANG sings “darling, darling, you, you are the only one for me”, and the lyrics and melody is impressive. TAEYANG’s soulful voice is enough to capture anyone’s heart. 

Earlier on, TAEYANG said, “This song goes back four years. I’ve done this and that with the song many times. It’s a song that all lovers can relate to.” He went on to say, “At first you might think the song is about a breakup, but you’ll know that it’s about passionate love. Pay attention to the lyrics until the very end.” 

After the teaser video was released, expectations are running even higher for the music video, which was filmed in LA and Alaska. The grand natural scenery and TAEYANG’s soulfulness is expected to create a fascinating chemistry.  

“DARLING” is written and composed by YG’s main producer TEDDY. 8!, CHOICE 37, and FUTURE BOUNCE also participated in writing the music of the song. 

TAEYANG’s “WHITE NIGHT” album will be released at 6 PM on August 16. An hour before the release, he will do a V Live show to celebrate his comeback and introduce his new album to his fans himself.

[일간스포츠=황지영 기자] TAEYANG will be performing his new songs for the first time at the Seoul concert of his world tour.

On August 14, YG Entertainment uploaded a spot video and poster of the Seoul concert of TAEYANG’s “WHITE NIGHT” tour on its official blog. The concert will be held at Jamsil Stadium on August 26-27.

The spot video features TAEYANG in LA and Alaska, which he had visited to shoot the music videos for his new album, and the behind the scenes of his world tour. The huge scale of the natural scenery of LA and Alaska and the video’s heavy sound effects go well together.  

TAEYANG will make his solo comeback after a three-year and two-month break at 6 PM on August 16 with a new album titled “WHITE NIGHT”. An hour before the release of his album, TAEYANG will do a V Live show to celebrate his comeback and introduce his new album to his fans.

Earlier on, TAEYNAG said, “When I make plans for a tour, I always keep in mind that it is like a presentation stage for a new album. Of course, I will sing my past songs during my world tour, but I will also sing all the tracks, including the title songs, of my new ‘WHITE NIGHT’ album.”  

TAEYNAG also decided to do an additional concert in Vancouver, Canada for his “WHITE NIGHT” tour. The ticket sale to TAEYANG’s original Vancouver concert started on July 25, and all the tickets were sold out. As a result, TAEYANG decided to do an additional concert on September 14. TAEYANG will be touring around 11 countries and be doing 23 concerts in 19 cities.
