[스포츠조선=이유나 기자] The results of big data analysis on the brand reputation of singers for June 2017 came out. The first place went to G-DRAGON, the second place to Twice and the third place to BTS.

The Korea Reputation Center (KRC) compiled 63,006,736 pieces of data on singers from May 23 to June 24, 2017 and did an analysis on consumer brand participation, media, communication, and community. The number of big data pieces on singer brands decreased by 24.22%, compared with 83,142,847 in April.

For the singer brand reputation index, the KRC compiles big data about singers’ reputation and analyzes consumer behavior patterns to rate a singer on his or her value in participation, communication, media, and community and positive or negative ratio. The index tells you who is talking about a singer and where, how, how much, and why.

G-DRAGON ranked first in the singer brand reputation for June 2017 followed by Twice, BTS, PSY, Seventeen, Mamamoo, IU, BLACKPINK, Lovelyz, Red Velvet, GFriend, AOA, SECHSKIES, Sista, WINNER, Taeyun, San-e, BTOB, Baekhyun, Jung Eun-ji, Bolbbalgan4, EXID, Suran, Girl’s Day, and Zico.

Head of the KRC Koo Chang-hwan said, “According to our analysis on the singer brand reputation for May 2017, G-DRAGON ranked first. He was the first Korean solo singer to take the No.1 spot on Billboard’s World Album Chart for two consecutive weeks. His new album has five tracks, and he participated in writing the music and lyrics of all the five songs. He hasn’t gone on any music shows, but his song is No.1 on all four of them.”

He went on to say, “Keyword analysis on G-DRAGON’s brand showed that the most frequently used keywords were “debate”, “good”, “thanks you”, and the hyperlink analysis showed that “UNTITED”, “USB”, “BIGBANG” were frequently used. The positive/negative ratio for G-DRAGON was 52.09% for positive.”

The Korea Reputation Center (http://www.rekorea.net) keeps track of the changes in brand reputation by analyzing big data. This brand reputation survey analyzed big data on G-DRAGON,   Twice, BTS, PSY, Seventeen, Mamamoo, IU, BLACKPINK, Lovelyz, Red Velvet, GFriend, AOA, SECHSKIES, Sista, WINNER, Taeyun, San-e, BTOB, Baekhyun, Jung Eun-ji, Bolbbalgan4, EXID, Suran, Girl’s Day, and Zico from May 23 to June 24, 2017.

G-Dragon Rises With “Untitled, 2014”; Soompi’s K-Pop Music Chart 2017, June Week 4

G-Dragon’s “Untitled, 2014” moves up nine spots to take over as our new No. 1 song this week! Due to the fact that G-Dragon’s album is in USB format and he did not come out to promote this song, “Untitled, 2014” wasn’t listed on some of our chart sources. However, it managed to win on “Inkigayo” and “Music Core” last week. Overall, it was enough to capture our top spot. Congratulations to G-Dragon!

Switching spots at No. 2 and 3 from last week are TWICE’s “SIGNAL” and SEVENTEEN’s “Don’t Wanna Cry.”

There are two new songs in the top 10 this week. Up 10 spots to No. 5 is the first solo top 10 hit for Chungha, who is a former member of I.O.I. Her song “Why Don’t You Know” is the title track of her first mini-album “Hands One Me.” It is a dance song made for the summer season with a tropical house beat and a catchy melody. Rapper Nucksal is also featured on this song.

Also scoring their first top 10 hit is Cosmic Girls with their song “HAPPY,” which moved up 17 spots to No. 10. Their last song “I Wish” peaked at No. 11, but this time they did one spot better and moved into the top 10. This is the title song from their first studio album “Happy Moment.” It is a refreshing dance song about the happiness and excitement that comes with love.

Music video of BIGBANG’s “FANTASTIC BABY” surpassed 300 million views… “Unrivalled”

[OSEN=강서정 기자] The music video of group BIGBANG’s “FANTASTIC BABY” has surpassed 300 million views on YouTube.

As of June 22 at 8:20PM, the music video of “FANTASTIC BABY” recorded 300,000,090 views on YouTube, to prove BIGBANG’s never-ending popularity.

Today (June 23) at 8AM, YG Entertainment unveiled a celebratory poster that congratulates the 300 million views mark achieved by the video of “FANTASTIC BABY”, on the company’s official blog.

The music video of “FANTASTIC BABY” released on March 6 in 2012 reached 100 million views on March 27 in 2014, 200 million views on January 26 in 2016, and then now 300 million in one year and five months from then, on June 22, 2017.

BIGBANG had surpassed 200 million views on YouTube for the second time for a Korean artist with the video of “FANTASTIC BABY”, following PSY. Now that the video has surpassed 300 million views, BIGBANG became the Korean idol group who has the music video of the biggest number of views on YouTube.

The music video of “FANTASTIC BABY” included in BIGBANG’s fifth mini-album “ALIVE” was directed by director Seo Hyun-seung who has worked on the music videos of numerous hit songs of BIGBANG and 2NE1. The video of “FANTASTIC BABY” is still enjoying great popularity with its exciting beat and dynamic dance.

BIGBANG has now become the Korean artist with the largest number of music videos that surpassed 100 million views, with the 300 million views mark of “FANTASTIC BABY”, the 200 million views mark of “BANG BANG BANG”, and the 100 million views of “BAD BOY”, “LOSER”, “BLUE”, “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE”, GD&TAEYANG’s “GOOD BOY”, and G-DRAGON’s solo song “CROOKED”.

In addition, as the music video of “FXXK IT” released last year has reached 98 million views and is expected to reach 100 million views soon, the record set by BIGBANG will be unbreakable for quite some time from now.

In the meantime, BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON recently released his new solo album “KWON JI YONG” and is carrying out solo world tour “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E”. TAEYANG will also actively perform as a solo artist, holding his first stadium tour in Japan “SOL JAPAN STADIUM LIVE 2017”.

BIGBANG’s Seungri Involved In Very Minor Car Accident

On June 23, a report from Ilgan Sports revealed that BIGBANG’s Seungri, or rather his car, experienced a minor fender-bender near his home.
