BIGBANG’s “MADE THE FULL ALBUM” released on December 12 at midnight, the beginning of December 13, is enjoying enormous popularity in and out of the country. The album is ranked No.1 on the iTunes albums charts of 16 countries: Costa Rica, Finland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Norway, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam. It is ranked in the fourth place on the chart of the United States, proving the global popularity.
The album’s popularity could not grow bigger than now. As of December 13 at 8AM, “FXXX IT” and “LAST DANCE”, the double title tracks, as well as another new song “GIRLFRIEND” are ranked in the first, second, and third places on eight music charts in Korea, including Melon, Olleh, Bugs, Mnet, Genie, NAVER Music, Soribada, and Monkey 3. Search word “BIGBANG”, “FXXX IT”, “LAST DANCE”, and “GIRLFRIEND” are sweeping top four places on search engines’ real-time search word lists. Plus, BIGBANG’s comeback countdown live-broadcasting hosted before the album’s release was watched by as many as 1.5 million fans, to prove people’s keen interest in BIGBANG.
Notably, other than the three new songs, eight songs of BIGBANG’s new album which had already been released in “MADE SERIES” last year are now entering top 100 of the chart of Melon, the biggest music-streaming website in Korea. That created a surprising scene, with all the 11 songs of “MADE THE FULL ALBUM” staying in the chart of Melon.
In the meantime, BIGBANG will unveil the performance of their new songs for the first time in SBS “INKIGAYO” on December 18. Plus, they will meet fans more by appearing in MBC’s “Radio Star” show and “The Infinite Challenge” show.

During the segment where the members looked through a questionnaire, it was revealed that BIGBANG’s fans chose “Dirty Cash” and “Haru Haru” as their favorite songs. Regarding this, Seungri said, “A lot of people have told us that ‘Dirty Cash’ was the song that got them to like BIGBANG.”
The members looked surprised to see “Haru Haru” so high up on the list, stating that they thought “BAE BAE” would be more popular. They explained, “We don’t really like ‘Haru Haru’ that much. Back when we were promoting songs like ‘Lies’ and ‘Haru Haru,’ we shot a lot of dramatized music videos. We had to act out roles for those music videos. [스타뉴스=길혜성 기자] BIGBANG (G-DRAGON, T.O.P, TAEYANG, DAESUNG, and SEUNGRI), one of the top K-pop idol boy groups, unveiled their versatile appeals built for the past 10 years.
BIGBANG officially released “MADE”, their first full album in Korea in eight years, on December 12 at 12 o’clock in the night (December 13 at 0 o’clock), on a variety of music-streaming websites.
BIGBANG’s “MADE” full album has total 11 songs, including three new songs “FXXX IT”, “LAST DANCE”, and “GIRLFRIEND”, as well as eight songs that were released in “MADE” single project last year.
“FXXX IT” is a groovy hip-hop song with G-DRAGON and T.O.P’s unique rapping and TAEYANG and DAESUNG’s appealing vocal. Its sound is intense but the song is generally rhythmical, to make the song all the catchier. Its lyrics repeat “fxxx it”, the title, so it lingers on listeners’ ears for a long time even if they listen to it only once.
“FXXX IT”s lyrics were jointly written by BIGBANG’ G-DRAGON and T.O.P, as well as YG’s main producer TEDDY. The song’s melody was written by G-DRAGON, TEDDY, and rookie songwriter R.Tee.
“LAST DANCE” is an R&B slow song with flagship BIGBANG style. It well expresses BIGBANG members’ hearts for fans.
In NAVER V-LIVE broadcasting hosted right before the release of the “MADE” full album, DAESUNG and SEUNGRI introduced “LAST DANCE”, saying, “It is a song that talks about BIGBANG’s story”. G-DRAGON said, “It is a song that expresses our sincere hearts”.
Notably, G-DRAGON and T.O.P present their fascinating vocal in “LAST DANCE”, to make the song all the more captivating.
The lyrics of “LAST DANCE” were jointly written by BIGBANG’s G-DRAGON, T.O.P, and TAEYANG, while its melody was written by G-DRAGON and Jeon Yong-joon.

[OSEN=선미경 기자] Group BIGBANG‘s gift for fans was lavish. BIGBANG met fans after a long time of absence, to introduce their new songs, unveil behind stories, and answer to fans’ questions.
From 11PM on December 12, BIGBANG hosted BIGBANG “MADE THE FULL ALBUM”s countdown-live broadcasting, on search engine NAVER’s V-APP. The members introduced their new album to fans with big excitement for the release of their first full album in eight years.
BIGBANG first greeted fans and then introduced their new album. SEUNGRI expressed his gratitude for T.O.P, saying, “There is an art-holic, eccentric artist. The album has been successfully produced thanks to artist T.O.P’s great help”.
BIGBANG also unveiled the process of producing “MADE THE FULL ALBUM”. TAEYANG said, “We began working for the album in earnest two years ago. We had originally started working after deciding to release a full album, but we came to release single albums. That became the MADE series. Now, the full album of the MADE series is being released. There have been some moments when I wanted to give up”. TAEYANG’s remark shows how much burden and tension BIGBANG had for the new full album.
BIGBANG also introduced “FXXX IT”, “LAST DANCE”, and “GIRLFRIEND”, the new songs of the new album, one by one. They unveiled the behind story of “FXXX IT”, saying, “In terms of genre, it’s future bounce. In fact, genre is not that important. We had to make ‘MADE’ album. We gathered together to think about what to do with it and while thinking, someone said ‘Fxxx it, let’s just do it’. That was how this song was born”.
Then, the members explained that “LAST DANCE” was about the story of BIGBANG for the past 10 years. They said, “We remember how much SEUNGRI liked this song”. SEUNGRI expressed his affection for the song, saying, “I just love the song. When I listen to this song, it reminds me of the 10 years of BIGBANG. It’s a song that says who we are”.
T.O.P’s vocal is included in “LAST DANCE”. It is a song that can represent the 10 years of BIGBANG. BIGBANG members explained, “We tried to express many things in our songs in the past, but this time, it was like emotions were created in emotions”.
DAESUNG explained about “LAST DANCE”, saying, “It is a song that talks about the hearts of all of us. You will be able to feel that you’re with us while listening to this song”.
For the last new song “GIRLFRIEND”, BIGBANG said, “It was written quite some time ago, when we were working on MADE singles, but it was not included in the singles. I personally have listened to this song for two years now. I like it more and more every time I listen to it. I think it is a song that never bores you, so you can listen to it over and over again. BIGBANG’s flagship hip-hop feel and melancholic feel are well expressed in the song”. Notably, T.O.P worked especially hard on the song, revising his rap part as many as 20 times.
Along with the introduction of new songs, BIGBANG had a Q&A session with fans. BIGBANG answered fans’ questions selected by voting in advance, to satisfy their curiosities. After the Q&A session where BIGBANG directly communicated with fans, SEUNGRI received many “happy birthday messages” that fell on the day of the broadcasting.
Notably, BIGBANG unveiled the music videos of their new songs for the first time. The music video of “FXXX IT” was unveiled before the release of the song, to satisfy fans’ anticipation and to even further raise their anticipation for the next new song. SEUNGRI said, “The concept of this song is to display the five of us together all the time”.
Then, the music video of “LAST DANCE” was unveiled. TAEYANG said, “I feel lucky that we can release this song at this moment. It is a meaningful song”. SEUNGRI said, “It is a song that talks to our fans”.
BIGBANG also mentioned their plan for the new full album. They raised fans’ anticipation by talking about their appearance in not only TV music shows but also “The Infinite Challenge” and “Radio Star”. BIGBANG also hinted on another new song that is not included in the full album, saying, “We also have two undisclosed songs. We’re doing another preparation for those songs”.
BIGBANG talked about their concert as well, saying, “We have a special event for fans, too. The concert will be very meaningful”.
Lastly, BIGBANG members toasted each other for the success of the new full album for which they have worked for a long time. T.O.P made the special drink for toast, with his own recipe. BIGBANG’s live-broadcasting right before their comeback presented the joy of listening to new songs together and unprecedented fan service of BIGBANG’s introduction of their new songs. That was the perfect finale for BIGBANG’s 10th anniversary project.

It has only been couple of hours since BIGBANG dropped its new album, but they are topping all Korean music charts such as MelOn, Mnet, Genie, and more. “FXXK IT” is placed first while “Last Dance” is charting at #2 in all music charts as well.

BIGBANG has finally returned with a full album and double title tracks!
Released on December 13 at midnight KST, the members take things a little slower with their second title track “LAST DANCE.” The slow, R&B track once again features lyrics by G-Dragon, T.O.P, and Taeyang. G-Dragon also participated in the production of the track.
The full album “MADE” also dropped at midnight KST, and will be available offline on December 23. It will include another new track “GIRLFRIEND” and many BIGBANG’s hits that were released last year.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG will be holding their comeback performance on SBS’s “Inkigayo.”

The BIGBANG members answered fans' question about the meaning of "Last Dance" on 'V'!
On December 12, BIGBANG held a live show to countdown the release of their new album and talked about their new songs.
During the show, the members noticed a fan comment that read, "The word 'last' in 'Last Dance' is so sad. Is it really the last?" To the comment, BIGBANG members replied, "Everyone could interpret it differently...'Last' in 'Last Dance' doesn't mean it's 'the end.' We contained a meaning of recalling the best moments."
