BIGBANG is making their return to “Infinite Challenge” since their last full group appearance in 2011.

Despite it being five years since their last “Infinite Challenge” guest appearance, the group was reported to be relaxed on set during the recording. Upon hearing that BIGBANG would be coming as guests on the show, the “Infinite Challenge” team members paid extra attention to their fashion and were reported to receive evaluations from G-Dragon.

Both groups also spent some time sharing honest stories with each other, as BIGBANG is celebrating their 10-year anniversary while “Infinite Challenge” is celebrating their 11-year anniversary.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG’s appearance on “Infinite Challenge” is set to air on December 17, 6:20 p.m. KST.

[헤럴드POP=박수인 기자] BIGBANG is competing against BIGBANG this year again, following the BIGBANG vs. BIGBANG competition last year. Upon their comeback with “MADE”, the first full album in eight years which is also an album that celebrates the 10th anniversary of BIGBANG’s debut and the last full album before BIGBANG members join the army for their mandatory military service, BIGBANG is showing their unrivalled power in the music scene. 

BIGBANG’s songs released last year swept music charts. The songs presented in different genres with BIGBANG’s own color enjoyed great popularity from the public, as the title tracks of each single. As all the eight songs were title tracks of each single album, music videos were released for all of them and BIGBANG presented live-performances in TV music shows, to make the second half of 2015 the BIGBANG time. 

“LOSER”, “BAE BAE”, “BANG BANG BANG”, “WE LIKE 2 PARTY”, “IF YOU”, “SOBER”, “ZUTTER”, and “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” topped music charts every time they were released, along with the other songs released earlier still staying in high ranks on charts. That made BIGBANG songs compete against other BIGBANG songs for No.1 and No.2 on charts. From May to August and afterwards last year, BIGBANG’s songs took all the high ranks on music charts in Korea. 

Despite such big success of the single albums last year, BIGBANG fans and the public have been longing for the release of BIGBANG’s full album. It was thought that the full album would be released soon after the release of single albums “M”, “A”, “D”, and “E”, but one year has passed in BIGBANG’s absence from the music scene. However, BIGBANG gave a hope for fans by saying, “As this year marks the 10th anniversary of our debut, we’ll release the full album within this year”. 

On December 12 at midnight, BIGBANG’s full album “MADE” was finally unveiled. The album includes two songs of each of “M”, “A”, “D”, and “E” singles that were released one by one every month from May to August last year, as well as three new songs. 

The new songs are “FXXX IT”, “LAST DANCE”, and “GIRLFRIEND”. Just as it was the case for the single albums released last year, BIGBANG’s new full album also has double title tracks: “FXXX IT” and “LAST DANCE”. It is expected that this December will be the month of BIGBANG. 

The expectation has come true. As of December 13 at 9:30AM, the first day of the album’s release, “FXXX IT” is in No.1 on the charts of total eight music-streaming websites, with “LAST DANCE” in No.2 and “GIRLFRIEND” in No.3. As such, BIGBANG is dominating the first, second, and third places on music charts. It is a BIGBANG vs. BIGBANG competition again. 

With such record, BIGBANG has proven their unmatched potential once again. Music fans’ great anticipation for BIGBANG’s first full album in eight years is being materialized in the remarkable record on charts set by BIGBANG songs.

The three new tracks off BIGBANG’s “MADE” album are still reigning over the Korean charts well over a day after their release!

BIGBANG’s new tracks “FXXK IT,” “LAST DANCE,” and “GIRLFRIEND” quickly achieved an all-kill on domestic music charts after their release at midnight KST on December 13, taking over the top three spots on the eight major charts within an hour.

At 4:30 a.m. KST on December 14 (over 28 hours after release), the three tracks were still in the top three spots on the charts. “FXXK IT” was in first place, “LAST DANCE” in second place, and “GIRLFRIEND” in third place on Melon, Bugs, olleh, Soribada, Genie, Naver, and Monkey3.

Mnet, the eighth major chart, was down for maintenance at the time, but the three songs were in the top three spots on Mnet at its most recent update at 12:30 a.m. KST.

Meanwhile, the album is also doing well internationally, as it took first place on the iTunes albums charts in 19 countries on December 13.

BIGBANG’s third regular album, “MADE THE FULL ALBUM”, was released at 12 AM on December 13. Upon release, the album took the no.1 spot on the iTunes chart of Brunei, Cambodia, Costa Rica, Finland, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macao, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Norway, Paraguay, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, and Vietnam, demonstrating BIGBANG’s global popularity.  

BIGBANG’s new album is sweeping Korean charts too. “FXXX IT”, one of the title tracks, became no.1 on the realtime and daily charts of Melon, Mnet, Bugs, Olleh, Soribada, Genie, and Naver Music. 

The other title track “LAST DANCE” and “GIRLFRIEND” took the no.2 and no.3 spots on five major charts. BIGBANG has been a record setter for the last ten years, and things are no different now.  

Fuse TV, an American digital cable and satellite television channel dedicated largely to music, reported, “BIGBANG Finally Release ‘Made’ Album With Career-Exemplifying ‘Fxxk It’ and ‘Last Dance’ Videos.”  

It went on to say BIGBANG’s “album is officially here with two new music videos that solidify the band’s artistry and personality…”

The music videos of “FXXX IT” and “LAST DANCE” recorded 3,286,924 and 2,733,900 YouTube views, respectively, in just 14 hours. In total, the music videos posted 6,020,824 views, reflecting the huge response from BIGBANG fans around the world.  

BIGBANG will perform its new songs for the first time on SBS’s Inkigayo. The group will also appear on MBC’s Radio Starand Infinite Challenge.

[스포츠서울=유주연 기자] In this December, BIGBANG is causing a seismic change in the music scene. By dominating music charts with their name “BIGBANG”, the team is proclaiming the return of the legendary idol boy group.

On December 13 at 0AM, BIGBANG’s new full album “MADE THE FULL ALBUM” was released. Upon the release, “FXXX IT” and “LAST DANCE”, the double title tracks of the album, and another new song “GIRLFRIEND” are ranked in high places on music charts together.

The new album has three new songs and eight songs including “BANG BANG BANG” and “LOSER” which swept No.1 on charts for four months from August last year. The MADE full album is completing “M.A.D.E” series that began in August last year in a great success, one and a half year after its beginning.

It is an obvious fact that BIGBANG who celebrated the 10^th anniversary of their debut this year is the top idol boy group that represents Korea. As BIGBANG is the only Korean singer who has held a world tour including North America, music fans from in and out of the country has been paying keen attention to BIGBANG’s comeback. 

BIGBANG’s “MADE” full album bears all the more significant meaning, as it is their first full album in eight years. It is all the more meaningful, as fans will not be able to complete team of BIGBANG for some time because T.O.P will join the police for his mandatory military service in February next year. As such, BIGBANG’s new songs released after one year of absence is creating sensation.

BIGBANG made debut in 2006. Just as the name of the team means, BIGBANG caused a “BIGBANG” in the music scene upon their debut and their power is still enormous in 2016, 10 years after debut. That is why many music fans are paying keen attention to BIGBANG’s future.

In the meantime, BIGBANG will unveil the performance of their new songs for the first time on December 18 in SBS “INKIGAYO”. Plus, BIGBANG will meet fans in “BIGBANG10 THE CONCERT : 0.TO.10 FINAL IN SEOUL” on January 7 and 8, 2017, at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.
