As if dominating music charts for three months wasn't enough, BIGBANG just announced another reason for K-pop fans to get excited.
The fourth release from BIGBANG's month-long "MADE" project will include a song from BIGBANG's subunit, GD&TOP. The hip hop duo, comprised of BIGBANG members G-Dragon and T.O.P, hasn't released music together since 2010.

GD&TOP's song will be the first song unveiled in the August single "E" from BIGBANG.

YG Entertainment confirmed news reports of subunit members G-Dragon and T.O.P filming a music video for the song. The pair are BIGBANG's rappers, and collaborated on released three singles and an album in 2010. The album, "GD&TOP" became one of the best selling albums of 2010 in South Korea.

The pair's first song, "HIGH HIGH" marked a departure from BIGBANG's quintessential five-member lineup for the first time. Since then, BIGBANG introduced as second subgroup, GD X TAEYANG, in 2014, with the song "Good Boy."

The news relating to "E" reveals that BIGBANG will change things up for their August release.
BIGBANG's "MADE" project began in May, with the release of two singles under the name of "M." The consecutive "A" and "D" releases by BIGBANG followed in June and July, and August will see additional releases under the "E" title.

GD&TOP's new song will be released on August 5.

“E”, the last album of “MADE” series, will be released on August 5. YG’s official blog has also posted a teaser image of GD&TOP. The image shows the back of G-DRAGON and T.O.P who will perform as a unit team for the first time in five years.

BIGBANG has been releasing a single of their comeback series from May on the 1 of every month. However, for this August, the date is the 5 of the month. The reason behind that is because BIGBANG is now out of Korea for their world tour and August 1 is Saturday.

YG Entertainment explains, “Every new release of ‘MADE’ series has been live-broadcasted for countdown with fans. However, August 1 is Saturday and the members will be doing world tour at that time. So we inevitably changed the date.” So, the reason behind the changed date is because BIGBANG members wanted to count-down the new release with fans.

For “E” album, not all the team members but G-DRAGON and T.O.P will release a new song. It is the first time for the two to perform as a unit team in five years since 2010. Fans’ expectations are rising for the synergy to be created by the two.

BIGBANG has been sweeping the No.1 on music charts from May 1 this year, with their comeback project “MADE” series. “M”’s “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” dominated top places on charts for a long time and “A”’s “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” followed the footsteps to gain a big success. In July when the rainy season began, sentimental song “IF YOU” and cool and exciting song “SOBER” took the No.1 in TV music shows without any TV performance, showing a great potential.

BIGBANG is now preparing to hit another home-run with new album “E”. Expectations for the synergy to be created by G-DRAGON and T.O.P to mark the finale of the series will continue to rise.

[OSEN=??? ??] August’s new song for BIGBANG (G-DRAGON, T.O.P, TAEYANG, DAESUNG, and SEUNGRI)’s comeback project “MADE” will be released by G-DRAGON and T.O.P. On August 5, the two will come back as “GD&TOP” unit, to create sensation in the music scene once again.

YG Entertainment has unveiled a teaser image to announce the news on the company’s official blog YG LIFE, in the morning on the 24.

The image shows the back of G-DRAGON and T.O.P, with a phrase “Fantastic” and date “August 5”.

BIGBANG began “MADE” project in May, which has been successfully carried out so far. In May, “MADE”’s first single “M” with “LOSER” and “BAE BAE” created sensation, taking the No.1 on all major on-line music charts and TV music shows. Then, in June, second single “A” with “BANG BANG BANG” and “WE LIKE 2 PARTY” swept a variety of music charts once again, showing an enormous potential.

In July, third single “D” with “IF YOU” and “SOBER” was released, to fill the summer season with sentimental emotions and cool mood. The team is to show another appeal by releasing “E”, the fourth single of “MADE” project, in August.

Notably, the harmony to be created by the team’s rapper G-DRAGON and T.O.P is drawing keen attention already. Taeyang and Park Myung Soo show off their close relationship in a new snapshot.

On July 24, Park Myung Soo uploaded a photo of the pair together and wrote, “My sun^^?,” along with hashtags for Taeyang, BIGBANG, my younger sibling, eyes, nose, and lips.

In the photo, the BIGBANG member is seen affectionately hugging the comedian from behind while kissing his head. Park Myung Soo looks very happy and smiles brightly.

As promised, BIGBANG unit GD&TOP is returning with a new track after five years! 

On July 24th, the duo released the first image teaser poster for the upcoming single E from the MADE album series and featured T.O.P and G-Dragon with their backs towards the camera and are seemingly using a urinal in a dark lit bathroom.

Though past releases have usually been made available on the 1st of every month, GD&TOP’s “??,” which can be translated literally to “Freaking Awesome” or better translated as “Dope,” will be dropped on August 5th.

BIGBANG unit group GD&TOP will be making a comeback after five years.

BIGBANG's agency, YG Entertainment, stated to Newsen on July 23, "GD&TOP are filming the music video for the new song today. The new song is scheduled to be released in August."

This marks GD&TOP's return after five years. GD&TOP released their first full-length album as a unit in December 2010, garnering popularity with charms set apart from BIGBANG.

GD & TOP to Make a Comeback After 4 Years With New Track Next Month!

According to an exclusive report by Star News, the August release of BIGBANG’s comeback project “MADE” will be a little different from the previous months’ releases. Instead of a full group release, BIGBANG’s sub-unit GD & TOP will be returning with a new track for the first time in four years!

Starting in May, BIGBANG dropped a series of new tracks on the first of every month to complete the final “MADE” album, which will be released in September with the addition of another brand new track.

Each part of the MADE series has contained two songs thus far. In August, BIGBANG will be coming out with the ‘E’ series, which will include GD&TOP’s new song.

According to industry insiders on July 23, G-Dragon and T.O.P are currently filming for the music video of their unit track. This is their first project together since the release of “High High” in December of 2010.

[????=??? ??] A choreography practice video of “BANG BANG BANG,” a new song of the boy band “BIGBANG,”consisting of five members, G-Dragon, T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, hit 10 million views on YouTube.

As of 3 p.m. on 22nd, the video clip marked 10,084,694 views only on BIGBANG’s official channel on YouTube. It has been only 17 days since the video was released on 5th.

It does not even take a full music video but a practice movie clip just to reaffirm dizzy popularity of the group.

In the video, the members practice choreography, wearing sweat suit comfortable but individual enough to show each member’s character unlike their stage costume. They seem relaxed but their dynamic performance is still eye-catching.

Paris Goble was involved in the choreography of “BANG BANG BANG.” She is well known for being the dynamic and unique choreographer for the film “Step Up 5” and also being involved in GD X Taeyang’s “GOOD BOY” and Taeyang’s “RINGA LINGA.”

[????=??? ??] You can now meet YG artists including PSY, BIGBANG, and 2NE1 in a hologram concert in Jeju Island.

On the 22, NextInteractiveK-Korea (NIK) held an opening ceremony to announce the establishment of world’s biggest K-Pop digital theme park “PLAY KPOP”, which will be built on 1,300-peyong of land in Jeju Jungmun Tourism Complex. Performances of YG artists including PSY, BIGBANG, and 2NE1 will be shown in hologram, at the opening ceremony.

Jeju “PLAY KPOP” which is a next-generation digital theme park that can be enjoyed by all family members, is a new concept of entertainment space where spectators can have on-hand experience through a direct participation. In this place, “live holo-concert” that vividly shows stars’ performances and 360-dgree 3D animation “LIVE 360 3D” can be enjoyed.

Notably, in “LIVE holo-concert”, performances of YG’s leading artists including PSY, BIGBANG, G-DRAGON, and 2NE1 are shown. Spectators can have a unique experience of standing on the stage as a lover of G-DRAGON during the concert, through telepresence technology.
