Leader G-Dragon continued next, "Honestly, my mind is just blank right now. I'm not sure what to say exactly.... I don't have anything special to say.. I'm happy. It was happiness and all I can say is that I'm grateful." G-Dragon then choked up with tears.

Lastly, Taeyang said, "As you know, after this performance, we will not be able to meet you guys for a short or a long time depending on how you perceive it. The reality is sad but, in a way, we will meet again later with improved, new sides, and a lot of indescribable thoughts are running through my mind. The times we spent together will always be a big encouragement to us during our military duty. Thank you so much and I love you."

BIGBANG’s Taeyang Cooks An Impressive Dinner For CL And Oh Hyuk

BIGBANG’s Taeyang impressed viewers with his cooking skills on the January 4 broadcast of tvN’s “Livin’ the Double Life.”

On this episode, Taeyang, CL, and Oh Hyuk went on a trip together to Gangneung. While CL had something scheduled, Taeyang and Oh Hyuk went grocery shopping together. The two singers’ relationship is not as close as Taeyang and CL’s, so Taeyang tried hard to start a conversation by asking Oh Hyuk lots of questions.

Taeyang also showed how he was a caring older brother to CL, who he has known for 13 years. He went to pick her up after her schedule was finished and made her laugh with jokes once she got in the car. When CL said she hadn’t eaten anything all day, he went into the kitchen to cook.

When he saw CL in front of the grill, he said, “I’ll do it” so she wouldn’t have to stand in front of the hot fire and grill meat. However, after she left, he had some difficulty with the torch and asked the staff for help. He walked back and forth between the grill and the kitchen to cook spicy ramen noodles for CL and kimchi stew at the same time.

The MCs watched and asked, “When did he learn to cook like that?” and praised his cooking skills. Thanks to Taeyang’s culinary skills, the three artists were able to enjoy a delicious dinner together.

CL made rice cake soup, a traditional Korean food eaten on New Year’s Day, and told others that the food was ready. Taeyang and Oh Hyuk sat down and the three artists began to eat.

CL said this would be her last rice cake soup since she’s going to the United States. Taeyang replied, “You can make rice cake soup in the U.S.,” to which CL pointed out that it wouldn’t be possible there because she made the rice cake soup with broth that was made by her grandmother.

Taeyang then mentioned, “A while ago, there was a time when CL stayed and lived in the studio because the album hadn’t been released. I remember both of us didn’t go home and CL made us rice cake soup.”

CL looked surprised as she responded, “I think that was nine or ten years ago.”

The show then aired footage of 2NE1 and BIGBANG members practicing during their early years and a photo of CL and Taeyang together. As a panel member watching the clip in the studio, Sandara Park explained, “Back then, 2NE1 and BIGBANG’s dorms were in the same apartment building. We saw each other often.” She added that watching this at home alone would have made her cry.

In her personal interview, CL stated, “I didn’t think Taeyang would remember when we made and ate rice cake soup together. I was surprised that he remembered.”

At the table, Taeyang said, “It’s delicious. It tastes just like the rice cake soup that we ate back then.”

It’s Been 10 Years Since “Haru Haru” was Released And It’s Become Even More Amazing

OG BIGBANG fans would surely remember the time the group released “Haru Haru”.

They surprised the public with an emotionally charged, addictive track and a dramatic music video to go along with it. An unconventional style if compared to other male idol groups during that time.

“Haru Haru” was first released as the title track for their “Stand Up” album back in August 2008 and believe it or not, the song actually turns 10 years old this year!

On their last concert in Seoul, fans were treated to a new, softer rearrangement of the iconic song.

Considering that it might be their last tour for a while before enlistment, the mellow rendition was enough to trigger a few emotions from their fans.

The significance of which was even more appreciated and left some in goosebumps!

The moment was so surreal, fans eventually joined the members in singing it with them.

Surely, only BIGBANG can set off new emotions by revising their old tunes.

KINGS.
