BIGBANG’s DAESUNG releases new album in Japan on October 12… “Very successful in the country” [Official Announcement]

[마이데일리=김나라 기자] Group BIGBANG’s member DAESUNG releases a new album in Japan on October 12.

DAESUNG’s label YG Entertainment announced on the 4 in the morning, “DAESUNG is releasing new mini-album ‘D-LITE’ on October 12 at 0 o’clock.”

The album is released in line with the end-of-year holiday season. It is the sequel of the “D-LITE” album that covered famous Japanese songs, which was released in 2014.

DAESUNG’s new album includes four songs. The title of a new song in it is “A・Je・Chyo!”, which is an abbreviation of “Anatao Jenbuo Chyodai” (“Give Me Your All”). It has an easy melody and lyrics that can resonate with anyone.

Other songs in the new album cover Suzuki Masayuki’s “Chigau, sou janai (違う、そうじゃない)”, Ozaki Kiyohiko’s “Mata Au Himade (また逢う日まで)”, and “笑顔の行方” that was included in “The best covers of DREAMS COME TRUE Dream Uta Vol.1” in which DAESUNG participated in the summer last year.

DAESUNG took No.1 on Oricon’s weekly chart upon the release of “D-Light” in 2014. His solo album “D-DAY” released in April this year also took No.1 on the daily and weekly chart of Oricon, to draw keen attention in Japan.

DAESUNG has been building successful solo career in Japan. He is currently holing “talk&live” hall tour “D-na SHOW Vol.1″ in 18 cities in Japan.

The tour will mark the grand finale in Hawaii on January 6 and 7 in 2018 after shows in Japan.

DAESUNG will host “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017 -LAST DANCE-” with BIGBANG members from November.

BIGBANG is the first-ever foreign artist who has hosted Japan dome tour for five years in a row. BIGBANG will meet 646,000 fans in 13 shows to be held in four cities: Fukuoka, Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo.

Watch: G-Dragon Meets An Unexpected Friend At Chanel Fashion Show

G-Dragon recently attended a fashion show in Paris and saw an unexpected friend.

On October 3 (Paris time), G-Dragon attended the 2018 S/S Chanel fashion show. As he was entering the show, he heard someone call his name, and he turned around and was surprised. It was comedian Jo Se Ho!

G-Dragon, who had been walking past with a chic look on his face, couldn’t hide his surprise at the comedian’s appearance and shook his hand. Jo Se Ho was squeezed in between photographers and fans and took photos of G-Dragon, who continued to look confused and started laughing.

It was later revealed that Jo Se Ho was in Paris to film the photography variety show “Photo People” (working title). The show also features JYJ’s Kim Jaejoong, former “Produce 101 Season 2” contestant Samuel, Lee Joon Hyuk, and Kim Sun Ah and will follow the celebrities as they learn how to professionally photograph.

“Photo People” will be released on Naver on October 12.

NCT’s Doyoung and gugudan’s Kim Sejeong will be revealing a special collaboration!

For the 28th song of SM STATION’s second season, the two idols will be singing a duet called “Star Blossom.”

Doyoung has participated in OSTs for “School 2017” and “Squad 38,” while Kim Sejeong received love for her “Legend of the Blue Sea” OST and solo track “Flower Way.”

“Star Blossom” will be unveiled on October 13 at 6 p.m. KST.

[OSEN=최나영 기자] BIGBANG’s TAEYANG will be on Mix Nine as a judge. Now that it’s been announced that TAEYANG and CL will come on the show as judges, the show will be under global spotlight.

On September 29, sources confirmed that TAEYANG will be appearing as a judge along with YANG HYUN SUK on Mix Nine. TAEYANG and YANG HYUN SUK will visit small entertainment agencies to search for new stars.

After releasing “LOOK AT ME ONLY” in 2008, TAEYANG has established his position as a unique solo artist by producing hit songs such as “I NEED A GIRL”, “WHERE U AT”, and “WEDDING DRESS”. His duet songs with G-DRAGON “GOOD BOY” in 2014 and with WINNER’s MINO “FEAR” on Mnet’s Show Me The Money 4 in 2015 were phenomenal hits. Thanks to his soulful voice and charisma, TAEYANG is a world-renowned solo artist that has charms no one can replicate. He released a new album last month, proving that he has completed his new style and gained a wider spectrum as a musician.

Mix Nine will be aired at the end of October on JTBC. It is a survival audition program, the first variety show made by HAN DONG CHUL since he moved to YG. HANG DONG CHUL was the producer of Mnet’s Produce 101 and Show Me The Money.  

YANG HYUN SUK will visit 60 entertainment agencies and pick hundreds of contestants at the first round. Then, he will choose 9 men and 9 women out of the contestants. They will compete as a boy and a girl team in the finals.

Recently, YANG HYUN SUK posted a picture with him and CL on his Instagram page, showing that CL will be participating in the show as a judge. Now, TAEYANG will be joining the team as a judge too.

It is expected that many more YG artists will be participating in the show as judges on Mix Nine. People are curious about which YG artist will join the team of Mix Nine judges.

Meanwhile, YANG HYUN SUK visited SE7EN’s agency Eleven9 for the first time. SE7EN used to be an YG artist, and YANG HYUN SUK posted a picture of them together on his Instagram page, which created quite an issue.

BIGBANG’s Taeyang To Join YG Audition Program “MIXNINE” As Judge And Mentor

BIGBANG’s Taeyang has been confirmed to become a judge and mentor in YG’s upcoming audition program “MIXNINE”!

YG Entertainment confirmed the news on September 29 and added, “Taeyang will be visiting small and medium-sized agencies with Yang Hyun Suk to search for the next big stars. With so much experience under his belt, we expect Taeyang to play a big role in the show and be a true mentor for the participants.”

JTBC’s “MIXNINE” is a joint project between Yang Hyun Suk and producing director Han Dong Chul that will follow Yang Hyun Suk as he visits agencies to find trainees with the potential to be the next Hallyu star. Other stars involved in the project include CL and No Hong Chul.

“MIXNINE” will air every Sunday at 4:50 p.m. KST from October 29.

tvN is launching a new music variety show with a lit cast!

On September 26, a source from YG Entertainment stated, “BIGBANG’s Taeyang, CL, and Oh Hyuk will be starring in tvN’s upcoming variety program.”

The show hasn’t come up with a title yet, but it will reportedly be following the lives of the three artists. Viewers will get to observe their trendy fashion, lifestyle, and their work as musicians.

It was further reported that the show finished filming its first episode, which will most likely air in early November.

CL and BIGBANG’s Seungri hang out with Steve Aoki

It appears that CL and BIGBANG‘s Seungri have been hanging around with one of the most famous DJs in the world, Steve Aoki when he went to Korea to perform.

Steve Aoki is in Korea for the ‘World Club Dome Korea 2017‘ event which features some of the biggest names in EDM and is taking place from September 22 to 24 at Incheon Munhak Station in Incheon. While visiting, the DJ uploaded several videos on his Instagram Stories which showed CL, Seungri, and himself having dinner together while the two K-pop artists welcomed him.

[OSEN=선미경 기자] G-DRAGON has successfully wrapped up his Japan dome tour. 

G-DRAGON has been hosting world tour “ACT III, M.O.T.T.E” in 29 cities around the world. On September 19 and 20, G-DRAGON stood on the stage of the Dome of Tokyo, the last city of his Japan dome tour, to spend some time with fans. 

When the show began with “HEARTBREAKER”, the title track of G-DRAGON’s first solo album, the atmosphere at the Tokyo Dome filled with audience was heated up. 

Then, G-DRAGON presented the performances of his mega-hit songs including “ONE OF A KIND”, “WHO YOU?”, and “CRAYON”, as well as the songs included in his solo album “KWON JI YONG” released in June this year. 

G-DRAGON expressed his gratitude for fans by saying, “I wanted to talk about an ordinary person Kwon Ji-yong, not G-DRAGON, in this album. It was very hard honestly and I was really worried. However, when I’m singing in front of you on the stage, such worries just disappear and my heart is filled with happiness. This time for me to meet you and be with you on the stage is really precious and meaningful for me. I’m really grateful to you for allowing me to have this good time”. 

In an encore performance of the show, BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI appeared on the stage as a surprise guest. SEUNGRI said “Mr. G-DRAGON, congratulations on the last day of your dome tour!” and performed with G-DRAGON. The two made fancy encore performances by singing “CROOKED”, “BAE BAE”, “BANG BANG BANG”, “GOOD BOY”, and “FANTASTIC BABY” together. 

With SEUNGRI’s support, G-DRAGON’s Tokyo Dome concert was wrapped up in a great success. 

G-DRAGON’s Tokyo Dome tour that ended on the day has entertained total 260,000 fans in five shows held in three cities in Japan. Now, G-DRAGON kicks off his Europe tour beginning from a show in Birmingham on September 23. 

G-DRAGON will release the Japanese version of his solo album “KWON JI YONG” in Japan on November 1. Then, from November, G-DRAGON will host “BIGBANG JAPAN DOME TOUR 2017 –LAST DANCE-“ with the other BIGBANG members. That will make BIGBANG the first foreign artist who has hosted dome tour in Japan for five years in a row. The tour will give total 13 shows in four cities including Fukuoka, Nagoya, Osaka, and Tokyo, to entertain 646,000 fans.

Japanese Media Claims 4 BIGBANG Members Plan To Enlist Next Spring

On September 21, Japanese media outlets announced that G-Dragon, Taeyang, Daesung, and Seungri are planning to enlist in the military by next spring. According to their reports, G-Dragon and Taeyang have already arranged to enlist by then. The reports also state that while Daesung and Seungri would be able to delay enlistment, they decided to enlist with the older members of the group in order to return as a group as soon as possible.

During Daesung’s concert in Japan in August, he announced, “I may have a long hiatus after my activities this year. However, I think this is the best decision for BIGBANG’s new beginning.”

Following that, media outlets have speculated that the earliest BIGBANG will be able to come back as five members will be sometime in 2020.

YG Entertainment has yet to address the reports.

Meanwhile, T.O.P is currently carrying out his military duty as a public service worker due to his marijuana case.
