BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is famous worldwide for his sense of fashion, creating the latest trends as well as producing his own clothing line. In a recent interview, G-Dragon, or Kwon Ji-yong, revealed his inspiration and how he views fashion.

His effortless style has been recognized and loved by people globally. In fact, his fans named him as the fashionista of BIGBANG, given the love he has for fashion. At Paris Fashion Week, during the European launch of his collaboration fashion line PEACEMINUSONE, he revealed how he feels about his fashionista image and his personal philosophy behind his unique style sense.

G-Dragon revealed that his love of fashion came from his mother. He said: “I started out as a child actor. Back then, I didn’t have a manager or company and I couldn’t even dream of having a stylist. My mom made and bought the clothes I would wear. I think that was probably when I first got into fashion? Interestingly, when I look at pictures of me when I was five or six years old, I think I look pretty stylish.”

The fashionista of BIGBANG even openly made fun of his own fashion fails on social media specially mocking his “sushi” hair on 2013 MAMA Awards on his personal Twitter. He said: “There are times even I am a bit embarrassed by my look. Don’t be afraid. There is no right answer in fashion.”

G-Dragon also explained the difference between the European and Korean fashion scenes saying: “European style is classic with its own color and to me, it always feels chic. I think Korea is still a bit sensitive to trends, I’m not sure if that’s necessarily good or bad but Europe, on the other hand, is consistent in keeping true to its own style.”

Recently, G-Dragon’s fashion line opened at London’s Dover Street Market and it was sold out immediately.

BIGBANG’s Seungri revealed he already misses bandmate T.O.P. less than a week before the latter enlisted in the military.

The youngest BIGBANG member showed his affection for the group’s main rapper and the oldest member who left for the military Thursday and will be discharged 21 months later.

Seungri posted Monday on Instagram a recent photo of the five members and wrote, “Let’s meet soon. #2017 #BIGBANG calendar #DVD is funny #Because we had fun filming it.”

The 26-year-old BIGBANG member added, “I already miss T.O.P hyung.”

Seungri is the latest bandmate to show signs of T.O.P. withdrawal. G-Dragon and Taeyang also took to their Instagram accounts to express how much they already miss T.O.P.

BIGBANG appeared January 4 on MBC’s “Weekly Idol” where the members paired up the youngest and the oldest member for the “apple game.”

“Why do you two look awkward?” asked MC Jung Hyung Don.

“We’re not awkward with each other, the members just say we are,” explained T.O.P.

Jung Hyung Don then asked, “Then just keep contacting each other (phone call)?”

Seungri and T.O.P. responded at the same time with different answers.

“We do keep in contact,” said Seungri.

T.O.P., however, answered, “We don’t keep in contact.”

So Seungri asked him, “What do you mean?”

“I’m just joking,” T.O.P. said with an amused expression.

They both succeeded the game and proved they’re not awkward at all.

T.O.P. also showed just how fond he is with Seungri when he repeatedly took to Instagram in 2015 to tease him with funny photos and captions.

The 29-year-old rapper kept teasing Seungri as the “sexy boy” as he posted candid photos of the youngest member showing off some bare chest or sleeping in a funny position.

In MBC’s “Radio Star,” however, T.O.P. explained why he banned Seungri from his house.

The avid art collector T.O.P., who keeps an expansive art collection at home, hilariously impersonated how Seungri would go about his house that made him reach this decision.

The members of ‘Running Man‘ put on a special performance for their loving fans!

On February 10, Kim Jong Kook, HaHa, Song Ji Hyo, Lee Kwang Soo, and Ji Suk Jin attended the ‘Running Man’ fan meeting at Taipei World Trade Center in Taipei City, Taiwan.

The members prepared various activities for their time with fans, and one of the surprises was turning into BIGBANG. The 5 members perfected the choreography and vocals of “Fantastic Baby“, making fans go wild at their amazing performance.

BIGBANG‘s T.O.P enlisted in the army on February 9 and wished to enter silently with no fans present. Fans still went to say their goodbyes but some fans took it to another level with their gifts.

YG Entertainment made an official statement on February 6 on T.O.P’s behalf, his sentiments regarding his upcoming enlistment:

T.O.P does not want a special event or ceremony for his enlistment. He wants to enlist quietly.

Fans of the BIGBANG rapper still flocked on February 9 to say their goodbyes regardless of the announcement made. It was expected that some fans would come and ignore the announcement but what people didn’t expect were the balloon gifts some fans brought.

Normally, fans just come to take photos and say their farewells regardless of the wishes of their stars. In the case of T.O.P some fans actually brought industrial sized helium balloons and flew them over the military base of Nonsan.

Nonsan Bootcamp is the base where T.O.P will receive his basic training as a soldier and it seems some people forgot that this is in fact, a military base. It is highly inappropriate to fly foreign objects over the base and decorate the base’s perimeter with banners, which is what some fans did.

VIPs have criticized the select few of fans for the senseless, shortsighted actions. Firstly for not respecting T.O.P’s wishes to enlist silently and most importantly, for tarnishing their fandom’s name with these ‘ways’ of appreciation.
