T.O.P gets jealous after the members of BIGBANG met up for a drink without him! 

Despite not having any official promotions as a group, focusing on fan events and individual commitments, the members of BIGBANG shares as to how they keep in touch.

On April 29th, Youngbae posted a photo on Instagram of him having a drink with G-Dragon, Seungri and Daesung, dedicating the post to T.O.P saying, ?Cheers for @choi_seung_hyun_tttop wish u were here! Miss u.? 

G-Dragon also posted the photo to his own account, while T.O.P shared the conversation he had with the rest of the members who dined out without it, further describing them as ?The brothers that I miss.? 

The updates from the members left fans in awe as to how they keep in touch despite their busy schedules.

T.O.P is currently in Germany for the film, Out of Control.

Lee Dong Hwi Reveals Fashion Tips He Received From BIGBANG’s T.O.P

Fashion magazine Elle has revealed their pictorial with actor Lee Dong Hwi for their May edition.

The pictures show off a sensitive atmosphere that appears dreamlike at times. Lee Dong Hwi displays a chic image with his poses and facial expressions.

Lee Dong Hwi has taken the entertainment world by storm following the success of his drama ?Reply 1988,? including racking up impressive advertisement contracts as well. He has several films lined up, including ?Key of Life? and ?One Line,? and has confirmed his casting in the drama ?Entourage.?

In the accompanying interview, Lee Dong Hwi reveals that his roles in each of the upcoming dramas and movies show a different side of him, showing his talent in immersing himself in his acting.

He?also discusses?the attention he has been receiving for his fashion style, saying, ?I?ve received a lot of fashion help from BIGBANG?s T.O.P. He even confirmed my outfit for me when I starred on ?Radio Star.? He told me that it seems like I?m dressing a bit flamboyantly these days and to instead wear tidy and cute clothes and so I changed clothes before I went in for the filming.?

YG Entertainment Responds to a G-Dragon Fan?s Clash With Airport Security

YG Entertainment has released an official statement regarding a G-Dragon fan?s clash with airport security.

On April 25, a video of the BIGBANG member?s arrival in Beijing was shared to social media. In the video, a fan is caught in a short skirmish with one of G-Dragon?s bodyguards as he exits the passenger terminal. The video has spread, and many Chinese fans expressed their anger at the incident.

Chinese media reported on the incident, saying, ?G-Dragon was filmed by many fans from a close distance upon his arrival to the Beijing airport. One young girl was shoved by a bodyguard, causing her to fall.?

Because of the negative public opinion, YG Entertainment released a statement to clear the air. ?We?ve checked the Chinese reports and the situation at that location, and we?ve determined that none of the bodyguards were employees of our agency.?

BIGBANG?s Seungri is making his big screen debut! The singer will appear in the Japanese movie ?HiGH&LOW? on July 16.

Seungri will be playing the role of Lee, the son of the head of a Korean crime syndicate. Lee is said to be a cunning and cold-blooded character, a 180-degree change from the singer?s normally bright and energetic personality.

In 2013 Seungri appeared in the Japanese TV movie ?The Files of Young Kindaichi: Lost in Kowloon.? Ahead of the release of his movie, he will be appearing in the drama ?HiGH&LOW Season 2? as well. The first episode is scheduled to air on April 23.

?HiGH&LOW? is a big project involving the release of a film, a manga, and an original album. The project is drawing attention for the appearance of the Japanese boy band Exile.

Seungri said about the project, ?I was excited to work with the Exile members. I was worried about my first filming but I learned a lot about a character I?d never played before. It was fun and I hope that I can grow through this opportunity.?

BIGBANG will be setting out on their Japanese fanclub event tour starting April 22 and is expected to hold a domestic concert in the summer to mark their 10-year anniversary.

USA Today Spotlights BIGBANG After TIME 100 Poll Results

U.S. news outlet USA Today recently published an article about BIGBANG, naming them ?the biggest boy band you probably haven?t heard of.?

The new publicity seems to have arisen as a result of the 2016 TIME 100 poll, where readers can cast their own votes to who should be on the TIME 100 Most Influential of 2016 list. (The actual list is compiled by the editors of TIME.)

BIGBANG took second place on the poll, behind Bernie Sanders, and beat out famous names such as Barack Obama, Taylor Swift, and Mark Zuckerberg.

In the article, USA Today notes that BIGBANG is ?the biggest K-pop boy band across the Pacific,? but rejects comparisons to One Direction, NSYNC, and the Backstreet Boys.

?For one, BIGBANG dabbles in everything from hip-hop, to R&B, electro pop and trap,? they write. ?And for another, they?re no longer boys.? They go on to mention that a few of the members are expected to enlist in the military in the next two years.

USA Today makes note of BIGBANG?s diverse musical style, the importance of each of the members, and their continued dominance of an ?increasingly youthful? industry. They mention each members? prolific solo careers (especially G-Dragon) and note that they ?cracked the Billboard 200? in 2012 and 2015 and held the largest K-pop arena tour in U.S. history.

?BIGBANG is a boy band worth your time and your devotion,? they write.

BIGBANG extend their 10th Stadium Concert in Japan!

BIGBANG has decided to add one more show for their loving fans in Japan!

Previously, BIGBANG successfully completed 'BIGBANG WORLD TOUR 2015~2016 [MADE] IN JAPAN'. This summer the group also plans to hold 'BIGBANG 10th Anniversary Stadium Live 2016 Japan' from July 30-31. 

Over 450,000 fans attempted to purchase tickets for the event, but only 110,000 seats were available. As a result, the overflowing requests led to the addition of one more concert on July 29. Now, a total of 165,000 fans can enjoy BIGBANG's 10th year celebration!

Prior to the concert, BIGBANG will hold 'BIGBANG FANCLUB EVENT  ~FANTASTIC BABYS 2016~' in 4 cities, for a total of 27 fan meetings.

Looks like BIGBANG has a full schedule set for this summer, and those lucky fans in Japan are going to be enjoying it with them!

[TV리포트=이지호 객원기자] BIGBANG’s member SEUNGRI (26) stars in Japanese movie “HIGH&LOW THE MOVIE” to be released in July.
“HIGH&LOW” is an action movie that depicts turf war between gang members. All the members of Japan’s most popular idol group EXILE and 三代目 J Soul Brothers (三代目) are starring in the movie. SEUGRI acts as son of gangster boss who leads gangs in Korea. The character acted by SEUNGRI is a cold-hearted and cruel man who tries to seize others’ turfs hand in hand with “Kohaku” acted by EXILE’s member Akira. It is a character completely different from SEUNGRI’s cheerful and bright personality.  
EXILE and 三代目 who pursue latest trend of music are known to have had long-standing connections with BIGBANG. Another reason for SEUNGRI’s casting is his fluency in Japanese. Insiders of the movie explained the reason why they cast SEUNGRI, saying, “He is good not only at the language but also as an actor and as a man. We thought that he would be able to further expand the movie’s view of the world”. 
SEUNGRI has once acted in a Japanese movie as a cameo, but “HIGH&LOW” is his first official Japanese movie to act an important character”.
SEUNGRI expressed his anticipation for the release of the movie, “I was really happy when I got the suggestion for casting in the movie. I really looked forward to working with EXILE. At the beginning of the shooting, I was a little bit worried, but I really enjoyed the shooting, suggesting my own ideas. I hope the breath-taking tension in the scene I shot with Akira could be well delivered to viewers”.
The movie will be released in July and SEUNGRI will also act in “HIGH&LOW Season 2” which is a drama series to be aired on Japanese Nippon TV.

BIGBANG and 2NE1 fail to join ?TIME 100? final list

Despite the massive campaign set by fans, YG Entertainment?s BIGBANG and 2NE1 fail to enter TIME Magazine?s ?TIME 100? for 2016. 

On April 21st, TIME released the final list of the ?The 100 Most Influential People? which involved pioneers, titans, artists, leaders and icons from across the globe. After heavy campaigning, however, fans were disappointed to find out that the two K-Pop artists nominated for the final list were not included.

In particular, BIGBANG was able to rank second in the online poll, strongly trailing behind poll winner, Bernie Sanders.

The only Korean celebrities to have been included in the list are Rain and Kim Yuna back in 2010.
