While the two of them were traveling in Japan, Lee Sang Min mentioned, “I heard there was a person who made 30 billion won [approximately $26.9 million] in Shin-Ōkubo just by selling tteokbokki [spicy rice cakes] and hotteok [sweet pancakes with sugar filling]. He made a ton of money just by selling those every day for five to six years.” Then he added, “I wish I could sell ssiat hotteok [sweet pancakes stuffed with seeds] next to him.”

Seungri warned, “The dangerous thing is that everyone thinks they will succeed if they start a business with foreign investment. Japan has different rules about finance and the restaurant business. You’ll get very hurt if you go into business [overseas] with only common sense about Korean business.”

Then he advised, “If you want to do something overseas, you need to know about that country and the people in it.”

Lee Sang Min told Seungri about failing in business and eventually ending up in a debt of ten billion won [approximately $9 million] at the age of 32. Seungri showed pity, saying, “If you had just kept that money and not done anything at all…”

Lee Sang Min praised him for being cautious and extra careful concerning areas of business he isn’t very familiar with.

SEUNGRI Reveals Teaser for the Sub-Title Track ‘WHERE R U FROM (ft. MINO)’… ‘An Exciting Dance Party’

승리_where

[매일경제=성정은 기자] SEUNGRI collaborated with MINO on his new song.

Today (7th), YG Entertainment revealed the teaser poster for SEUNGRI’s sub-title song from his first solo album, ‘WHERE R U FROM’ through their official blog.

What caught the viewers’ attention is that MINO of WINNER participated as a featuring artist. People are wondering what kind of synergy effects the two people will bring through their collaboration.

SEUNGRI’s main title song ‘1, 2, 3!’ is a song with fresh vibes which the public did not anticipate, while the sub-title song ‘WHERE R U FROM’ is a dance party song that matches well with SEUNGRI’s nickname, ‘Seungtsby’.

Related officials from YG explained, “Artists from YG have recently chosen one song as a title and focused on one MV. However, SEUNGRI created a MV even for his sub-title song, as it’s his first official album since debut”, and asked for the fans’ support by adding, “We hope that the title song ‘1, 2, 3!’ and the sub-title song ‘WHERE R U FROM’ both receive lots of love from the listeners”.

They also stated, “MINO is expected to make appearance in the MV for ‘WHERE R U FROM’, and is currently arranging his schedule so that he can perform with SEUNGRI during his first broadcast stage”.

SEUNGRI and MINO both participated as writers for the song ‘WHERE R U FROM’, while SEUNGRI also composed the track with FUTURE BOUNCE.

SEUNGRI’s title song ‘1, 2, 3!’ was produced by hitmaker TEDDY, while SEUNGRI participated in the composing and writing of the song. Since it’s the first collaborative work between SEUNGRI and TEDDY, music fans in and out of Korea are paying keen attention to SEUNGRI’s new song, which noticed a change in SEUNGRI’s style of music.

SEUNGRI will make comeback on the 20th with his first solo official album, ‘THE GREAT SEUNGRI’. It’s his first album in 5 years since he released ‘Let’s Talk About Love’ back in August 2013, and will be an opportunity for the fans to meet SEUNGRI’s unique musical charms, rather than his charms as a member of BIGBANG.

SEUNGRI expressed his passionate heart on making his solo comeback by stating, “I’m ready, now it’s time for me to show my talents. I won’t let my members down”.

YANG HYUN SUK also raised expectations on SEUNGRI’s comeback by introducing the album as a ‘legendary solo album’ and SEUNGRI as ‘the 5th runner of YG in 2018’.

After making his solo comeback on the 20th, SEUNGRI will hold his first-ever solo concert ‘SEUNGRI 2018 1st SOLO TOUR [THE GREAT SEUNGRI] in SEOUL x BC CARD’ from August 4~5 at 6 PM in Jangchung Gymnasium, Seoul, as a start of his solo tour.

On July 6, Seungri shared a video of himself taking on the 2018 Ice Bucket Challenge in style—the BIGBANG member is doused with not one, but four large buckets of ice water at Monkey Museum, his luxurious private bar.

In the video, the singer announces, “Hello, I’m BIGBANG’s Seungri. Although I’m a bit late, I too have ended up participating in the 2018 Ice Bucket Challenge.”

He then slips in his own name (which literally means “victory” in Korean) in a clever play on words, saying, “I’m sincerely rooting for the construction of the hospital dedicated to Lou Gehrig’s disease, and I hope that it achieves victory no matter what.”

Seungri then concludes, “I nominate Justin Timberlake, Ariana Grande, and Drake. Thank you!”

[OSEN=김은애 기자] SEUNGRI’s title song ‘I’ll Count to Three (1, 2, 3!) finally unveiled.

Today (5th) at 10 AM, YG Entertainment revealed the title song poster from SEUNGRI’s first solo album ‘THE GREAT SEUNGRI’ through their official blog (www.yg-life.com).

In a hot pink colored background, SEUNGRI made a chic facial expression while dressed up in a cool suit. SEUNGRI was treated in black and white, emitting a mature man’s atmosphere.

The title song ‘I’ll Count to Three (1, 2, 3!)’ was written, composed, and produced by hitmaker TEDDY, while SEUNGRI also participated in the writing and composing of the track. 24 and Seo Wonjin were also credited for the composition and arrangement of the track. Since this is the first musical collaboration between SEUNGRI and TEDDY, fans are wondering what kind of synergy effects will be brought out through the track.

SEUNGRI noticed his comeback as a solo artist in 5 years with his first official solo album ‘THE GREAT GATSBY’ on the 20th, since he last released ‘Let’s Talk About Love’ on August 2013. Watch: WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon Hilariously Compares SM, JYP, And YG Dance Styles + Does BIGBANG Impressions

WINNER’s Lee Seung Hoon made the set of “Radio Star” erupt in laughter with his comparisons of SM’s, JYP’s, and YG Entertainment’s dance styles as well as his impressions of the BIGBANG members singing to WINNER’s “Really Really.”

On the July 4 broadcast, Lee Seung Hoon first interpreted SM Entertainment’s artists’ dancing, explaining they move as if they are releasing energy inside them, as they dance with sharp angles, but then loosen it up a bit before dancing powerfully again.

For JYP, he described, “Park Jin Young focuses a lot of energy towards the middle of his face, and wears the kind of expression where you are about to yawn,” and danced JYP’s signature wave-like move.

Lee Seung Hoon moved on to YG Entertainment, imitating a dance Yang Hyun Suk did on a variety show many years ago, and explained, “The key point is to not look at the camera but stare off into the distance somewhere.”

The WINNER member then showed how each BIGBANG member would sing his group’s hit song “Really Really.” He began, “G-Dragon often looks like he’s dissatisfied when he’s on stage, glances around as if he’s angry, and tugs at his shirt a lot.” Using these points, Lee Seung Hoon demonstrated how G-Dragon would sing the song, including his habit of dragging out the pronunciation of some words.

For Daesung, he commented, “He’s got a lot of energy in his expression and has a voice that’s very suited towards the rock genre.” Incorporating this, he sang a very high-pitched, hard rock version of “Really Really.”

When asked how he would do Seungri, Lee Seung Hoon hilariously demonstrated many of the movements that the BIGBANG member would use when singing and used a similar tone of voice as well. He was then asked to do T.O.P, which he cleverly answered, “I purposefully didn’t prepare T.O.P’s [version].”

Lee Seung Hoon then imitated with Taeyang by showing a soulful rendition of “Really Really,” pointing out that the BIGBANG member moves his neck back and forth a lot. He ended by belting like Taeyang. As a bonus, he also demonstrated a Yang Hyun Suk’s version of the song, incorporating the dance from earlier with an imitation of his singing.
