According to BIGBANG‘s T.O.P, fellow group member Taeyang really has a way with words.
During the group’s appearance on popular MBC talk show Radio Star, the group members discussed Taeyang’s notorious handwritten letters. According to Taeyang, he writes letters to his girlfriend Min Hyorin whenever he thinks of her, and also occasionally sends flowers or delivers them to her personally.
But while handwritten letters may be romantic, Taeyang doesn’t exclusively send them for that reason. In fact, Taeyang explained that he once wrote T.O.P a letter when the group was busy with their own schedules for an extended period of time. When T.O.P had to leave for Germany to shoot his film “Out of Control,” he had a difficult time leaving everyone in Korea.
To comfort his fellow group member, Taeyang wrote him a letter reassuring the members’ strong bond and love for each other, and even ended it with the words “I love you.” T.O.P explained that he teared up upon reading those last few words, noting that it’s very difficult for men to say the phrase to each other.

It turns out that YG Entertainment‘s Yang Hyun Suk is the type to hold onto a grudge for a long time.
During BIGBANG‘s recent appearance on MBC talk show Radio Star, the group told an interesting story about a series of events between member T.O.P and YG Entertainment executive Yang Hyun Suk.
When the company opened up their very own restaurant back in 2015, Yang Hyun Suk asked his artists to give their honest opinions about the food after they had tried it. Trying to fit a joke in, T.O.P pretended that the food was mediocre and said that it was only “so-so.” But rather than take it as a joke, he revealed that Yang Hyun Suk became noticeably upset. T.O.P then added that this was not the first time he made Yang Hyun Suk angry with his words.
According to T.O.P, Yang Hyun Suk once asked him what YG Entertainment meant to him. Not wanting to sound corny, he responded by simply saying it was his workplace. Apparently T.O.P’s cold and straightforward answer apparently left a bad taste in Yang Hyun Suk’s mouth, as T.O.P explained that those words are still mentioned occasionally in BIGBANG’s group chat room even after four years.
To right his wrong, the radio star hosts asked T.O.P to explain what YG Entertainment meant to him now. When he quickly responded with the word “family,” fellow group member Taeyang added that T.O.P has actually started calling Yang Hyun Suk “father” after his faux pas years ago.

According to Gaon Chart on December 29, BIGBANG’s “FXXK IT” took two No.1s on Gaon’s charts for the 52nd week of the year 2016: digital chart and on-line streaming chart.
Following BIGBANG’s “FXXK IT”, CRUSH’s “Beautiful” took the second place; Bolbbalgan4’s “Tell Me You Like Me”, the third; CHAN YEOL and Punch’s “STAY WITH ME”, fourth; and BIGBANG’s “LAST DANCE”, fifth.

[마이데일리=박윤진 기자] Group BIGBANG’s SEUNGRI enthusiastically rebutted people’s misunderstanding about him, making many people burst in to big laughter.
On December 28 in the night, the second BIGBANG episode of “Radio Star” show was broadcasted.
While listening to G-DRAGON’s talks about paparazzi photos, SEUNGRI said, “G-DRAGON looks always good in any photo, but my picture was taken when I was asleep”, drawing keen attention for his very meaningful remark.
Then, the other members said, “SEUNGRI was refused by many women” and SEUNGRI honestly rebutted, “The girl for whom I had a crush had a boyfriend”.
TAEYANG went on to say, “I once thought SEUNGRI was having a relationship for about a year”. G-DRAGON added, “She was the friend of my friend, so I asked SEUNGRI to introduce us to her, and SEUNGRI said, ‘what are you talking about’. SEUNGRI was misunderstanding it”.
SEUNGRI honestly answered, “I really liked her. We exchanged hand-written letters and I even talked to her mother on the phone. I thought I was her boyfriend, but it turned out she had another boyfriend.”
G-DRAGON talked about “Fantastic Festival” hosted by SEUNGRI in the past, saying, “All the hipsters in the Gangnam area were there”.
G-DRAGON went on to reveal what SEUNGRI was like at his parties, saying he was acting like Gatsby in “The Great Gatsby”. He also unveiled some photos of the parties, surprising everyone at the studio. The MCs of the show gave thumbs-up to SEUNGRI, saying, “You’re the real celebrity in Korea”.
BIGBANG members also disclosed what SEUNGRI’s attitude about money was like. SEUNGRI looked disappointed and said, “You know, I am the one who pays always, but I get criticized always”.
SEUNGRI also revealed the truth about what singer Gummy said in “Radio Star” show in the past that she was in trouble because of SEUNGRI. He said, “I paid for the two bottles of the whisky before I left”. Then, he also said, “When Gummy said, ‘SEUNGRI did not pay for the whisky he ordered and just left’, I found out the receipt. I was to come to MBC right away, to show the receipt”, appealing how much he felt it was unfair.
Gummy once said in “Radio Star” show, that SEUNGRI ordered expensive menu and beverages at her birthday party.
SEUNGRI repeatedly stressed he was ‘not a moocher’, to be finally praised by the MCs differently from the first BIGBANG episode of “Radio Star” that was broadcasted last week.
Lastly, SEUNGRI said, “I really liked appearing in this show to openly talk about what I think, in front of fans”.

BIGBANG’s appearance in “Radio Star” show was like a guarantee of fun and entertainment. The encounter between the four famously pungent MCs and the five famously witty members of BIGBANG was expected to give birth to a legendarily fun episode of “Radio Star”, and such expectation was right. The second BIGBANG episode produced new records for “Radio Star” show. There was no single moment that was not fun in it.
In MBC’s talk show “Radio Star” aired on December 28 in the night, BIGBANG members exposed each other’s secrets. Just as in the first BIGBANG episode, BIGBANG members recklessly and honestly talked about their thoughts. The synergy between the five members of BIGBANG, especially SEUNGRI’s outstanding wit, gave a great entertainment to viewers. The second BIGBANG episode was even funnier than the first one.
In “Radio Star” show of the day, the MCs focused on rumors about G-DRAGON’s romantic relationship and breakup, as well as rumors about SEUNGRI. “Radio Star” show last week hinted that in the second BIGBANG episode, G-DRAGON would openly talk about the rumors about his relationship and breakup, drawing keen attention from many people. [스타뉴스=문완식 기자] MBC’s “Radio Star” show saw a great leap in its viewer ratings, thanks to guest BIGBANG’s great sense of humor and wit.
According to Nielson Korea, the company that surveys viewers ratings, on December 29, “Radio Star” aired on December 28 recorded 9.7% of nationwide daily viewer ratings of the day.
The rating was 2.0%p higher than 7.7% recorded by the last episode of the show aired on December 21.
In this week’s BIGBANG episode of “Radio Star” show, BIGBANG greatly entertained viewers with their outstanding sense of humor and wit. G-DRAGON gave witty answers to the MC’s questions about the rumors of his romantic relationship and breakup. SEUNGRI led the show like another MC. TAEYANG also wittily answered questions about his girlfriend Min Hyo-rin. T.O.P entertained viewers with his flagship serious attitude, too.
In the meantime, SBS’s comedy show “Laughter-Seeking People” and movie “The Great Tiger” aired on KBS 2TV at the same time with “Radio Star” recorded 2.9% and 2.2% of viewer ratings, respectively.

MBC’s “Radio Star” has enjoyed a jump in ratings thanks to BIGBANG.
According to statistics released by Nielsen Korea on December 29, the latest episode of “Radio Star” had nationwide viewership ratings of 9.7 percent.
This is 2.0 percent higher than the episode that aired on December 21.
The latest episode brought in big laughs as BIGBANG showcased their wit and talent. GDRAGON expertly handled rumors about his dating life while Seungri led the conversation like he was the MC of the show. Taeyang was witty when answering questions about his public relationship with Min Hyo Rin, and T.O.P kept the atmosphere bright with his humor.
In the same time slot, SBS’s “People Looking for a Laugh” scored ratings of 2.9 percent while KBS 2TV’s end-of-the-year movie screening of “The Tiger” came in at 2.2 percent.

BIGBANG’s Seungri revealed that he has not been in a relationship in a long time.
On the December 28 broadcast of MBC’s “Radio Star,” the featured guests were the members of BIGBANG, who shared a story of how a woman Seungri believed he was in a relationship with denied that they were together.
Seungri added, “I really liked her. I would write her letters and talk to her mother.”
During the show, MC Kim Gura also brought up a rumor he once heard about the BIGBANG member. He said, “A female celebrity who was falsely rumored to be dating Seungri happened to look just like a woman he was dating.”
Seungri explained, “This happens a lot. We’ve never met, but I had a dating rumor with EXID’s Solji. We’ve never seen each other. I get those rumors a lot.”
G-Dragon then stated that Seungri has not dated in a long time, to which Seungri commented, “After that incident, it’s been a while. I was hurt when she denied we were dating in the end,” and confessed he has not entered a relationship since.
