T.O.P will not be attending BIGBANG’s fan meeting in Japan

T.O.P will not be attending BIGBANG’s fan meeting scheduled in Japan.

According to the event associate, T.O.P will not be joining the fan club event, ‘BIGBANG FANCLUB EVENT ~ FANTASTIC BABYS 2016 ~’, which is scheduled in April. This means that only four BIGBANG members will show up at the fan meeting.

T.O.P’s absence is due to his return in acting. In April, T.O.P will be coming back to screens, and this schedule will be difficult to accommodate to BIGBANG’s fan meeting, which is also scheduled in April.

It is unfortunate that he would not be able to meet fans at the event. However, they will get a chance to see actor Choi Seung Hyun.

yg-life.com 201602250903770655_56ce459a02aa4_99_20160225090705

[OSEN=최나영 기자] BIGBANG marked the grand finale of their Japan dome tour “BIGBANG 2015 World Tour ~2016 [MADE] IN JAPAN” with a concert held on February 23 and 24 at Tokyo Dome.

The concert at Tokyo Dome was an additional session to the originally-scheduled Tokyo Dome concert that was held for four days in November last year. In the recent Japan dome tour, BIGBANG held total six concerts at Tokyo Dome alone.

The Japan dome tour made BIGBANG write unprecedented records of being the first foreign artist who has held dome tour for three years in a row in Japan and of drawing an unprecedentedly large number of audience of 911,000 people.

To demonstrate such unprecedented records, BIGBANG’s Tokyo dome concert held on the 24 was filled with the heat from 55,000 fans from even before its beginning.

“BANG BANG BANG”, the opening song, as well as “LOSER” and “IF YOU” released in Korea last year were performed one by one, to fascinate the audience. Solo performances of each member and performances of “HARU HARU”, “BAD BOY”, and “FANTASTIC BABY” heated up the atmosphere in the concert even further.

Even after the end of the concert, BIGBANG performed “BANG BANG BANG” and “BAE BAE” for encore. The three-hour-long concert satisfied the audience from the very beginning to the end.

The dome tour of BIGBANG began from the concert held for four days in November last year at Tokyo Dome. It continued to six concerts at Kyocera Dome in Osaka, four concerts at Yafuoku Dome in Fukuoka, two concerts at Nagoya Dome, and then two additional concerts at Tokyo Dome. The tour drew total 911,000 people to 18 concerts held in four cities in Japan.

Notably, more concerts were added again and again in Tokyo, Osaka, and Fukuoka, proving BIGBANG’s big popularity in Japan.

Meanwhile, BIGBANG took No.1 on Oricon’s daily DVD ranking with “BIGBANG 2015 World Tour ~2016 [MADE] IN JAPAN’ LIVE DVD & Blu-ray” released in Japan on February 24 when the last concert of the tour was held at Tokyo Dome.

BIGBANG has carried out their second world tour “MADE” since its beginning in Seoul in April last year. The tour had the largest-ever scale among tour concerts of any Korean singers. It drew as many as 1.5 million people to 66 concerts held in 32 cities in 13 countries including Korea, Japan, China, and other Asian countries, as well as the United States, Canada, Mexico, and Australia. Such a big scale of BIGBANG’s world tour proved the team’s status as a world-famous star once again.

After the official end of the Japan dome tour at Tokyo Dome, BIGBANG is now waiting for the world tour’s final encore concert to be held from the 4 to 6 next month at Olympic Gymnastics Arena in Seoul.

After the end of the world tour, fan-club event “BIGBANG FANCLUB EVENT ~FANTASTIC BABYS 2016~” that will have 27 sessions in four cities in Japan will be held from April.
