BIGBANG’s T.O.P is known for his trolling and random posts on Instagram. However, once in awhile, he interacts with fans and gives sensible advice. 

Recently, fans managed to capture one of his conversations with a fan through his personal Instagram account. On one of his posts published on January 31st, a fan shared his/her struggles in life and confessed that they find strength on art post, further thanking the rapper and actor, “Thank you for existing. Thank you for being a part of my life and giving me so much strength and so much to think about.”

T.O.P, who is known to read his comments most of the time, gave a touching and sensible response to his fan. He reveals to have been touched by the comment and said that,“Sometimes, not wanting to do anything is proof that we are still alive. When you’re emotionally overwhelmed by feeling insignificant and stressed, try to resolve it visually. Sometimes, search for our overly dulled sense of visual beauty and not forgetting about it can be such a huge donor and blessing. Hang in there, I am touched.” Another comment further closed his statement saying, “Sometimes, just try to feel the beauty that you simply see through your eyes, and try to make your disheartened heart beautiful as well. Doing that is very important to us.” 

Since the comment and response were circulated, fellow fans cannot help but identify with T.O.P’s words, further thanking the rapper for his deep thoughts and heartfelt advice.

BIGBANG continues to chart new territory as they go where no male idol group has gone before.

The five-member powerhouse group was the first Korean boy band to reach 100 million views on two separate music videos, and now they’ve topped their self-set record by being the first to reach 200 million views as well.

On January 19, the music video for their summer blockbuster hit “Bang Bang Bang” topped 100 million hits. This is their second music video to reach that milestone.

On January 26, it was revealed that the video for “Fantastic Baby” had reached 200 million views, a new record for Korean boy bands.

BIGBANG released two singles every month from May to August in 2015 as part of their “MADE” project, regularly topping the charts with each new release. Three of their songs made the Top 10 of MelOn’s top songs of 2015 (“Loser,” “Bae Bae,” and “Bang Bang Bang”).

Although it has been 10 years since BIGBANG’s debut, the YG Entertainment hitmakers have proven that they are still going strong.

G-DRAGON was the only Korean on the list.
Hypebeast introduced G-DRAGON as, ““If you’re at all familiar with K-Pop, G-Dragon is the first name that comes to mind” and that his group BIGBANG made a comeback last year and swept the K-Pop charts.
G-DRAGON was also on Hypebeast’s 100 Most Influential People list in 2014 along with Chairman of the Samsung Group Lee Kun-hee and was put on the cover of the magazine.
Others who made the list include Kanye West, Pharrell Williams and Rihanna.

BIGBANG to Appear in Japan’s Music Station for the First Time in 4 Years

  
[OSEN=선미경 기자] BIGBANG will make an appearance on Asahi TV’s popular music show Music Station.
On February 5, BIGBANG will appear on Music Station and perform their hit songs including “BANG BANG BANG”. It’s been four years since they last appeared on the show in 2012, and their fans in Japan are looking forwards to m on the show again.
BIGBANG will release their “MADE” series album in Japan on February 3, and the album will consist of eight songs in their original version and “LOSER”, “BANG BANG BANG”, “IF YOU” sung in Japanese. They are appearing on Music Station to promote the album. The last time BIGBANG released a Japanese version of their hit song was three years and eight months ago when they released the Japanese version of “MONSTER” in June 2012.
Currently, the “BIGBANG 2015 World Tour ~2016[MADE] IN JAPAN” is taking place with the Fukuoka concert on February 6-7 and Tokyo concert on February 23-24 left to go. The Tokyo concert will be the grand finale of their Japan tour, which consisted of 18 concerts and drew 911,000 people.
Afterwards, BIGBANG is to hold “BIGBANG WORLD TOUR [MADE] FINAL IN SEOUL” concert at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Stadium on March 3-6 to round up their world tour.

BIGBANG’s Tokyo Dome Concert on February 24 To Be Broadcasted Live 100%

  
[동아닷컴=최현정 기자] BIGBANG’s last Japan Dome Tour Concert in Tokyo is to be aired live.
Japan’s video streaming service provider dTV announced that they will be broadcasting live BIGBANG’s Tokyo Dome concert, which will be held on February 24 as part of their “BIGBANG 2015 World Tour ~2016 MADE IN JAPAN.”
BIGBANG’s Japan Dome Tour is a part of their world tour that kicked off in April last year. So far, BIGBANG has held concerts in thirteen countries including the US. In Japan, BIGBANG has held 18 concerts in four cities since November last year, drawing a total of 911,000 people.
At the Tokyo concert, BIGBANG will put on live performances of their hit songs as well as solo performances. The concert will be aired live from its opening to its finale.
Meanwhile, demonstrating BIGBANG’s global popularity, “FANTASTIC BABY” surpassed 200 million Youtube views and “BANG BANG BANG”, which was released on June 1 last year, surpassed 100 million views.

Leading lifestyle magazine HYPEBEAST has released its latest edition of “HYPEBEAST 100,” and none other than BIGBANG‘s fearless leader G-Dragon made the cut as Korea’s sole representative on the list.

Crafted by the magazine’s editors, writers, “HYPEBEAST 100? is a list honoring the 100 most influential people impacting the international creative world right now.

“If you’re at all familiar with K-Pop, G-Dragon is the first name that comes to mind,” the magazine writes, highlighting G-Dragon’s international stardom and many achievements not just as a singer-songwriter-producer but also as a fashion influencer, mentioning his relationship with photographer Terry Richardson and exclusive collaborative capsule collection with Italian luxury footwear company Giuseppe Zanotti.

BIGBANG’s G-Dragon is dubbed as the “Korean pop star that caused a stir at Chanel” in a feature published by British publication, The Telegraph

Ever since attending Karl Lagerfield’s yearly presentation, G-Dragon never fails to catch the attention not only from his fans, but also from the international press. Immediately after his appearance at Chanel on January 26th, G-Dragon appeared in a number of articles including a post published by The New York Times. 

This time, The Telegraph, considered G-Dragon as one of the most tagged celebrities at the event, sitting in the front row amongst other stars such as Cara Delevigne, Diane Kruger and more. BIGBANG’s G-Dragon to feature on Baauer’s debut album release

With “Harlem Shake” hitmaker announcing the release date of this debut album, Aa, Baauer reveals that he has collaborated with BIGBANG’s G-Dragon for a track. 

On January 28th, it was announced that Baauer will be releasing his debut album on March 18th and released its official tracklist. Amongst the 13-track collection, fans discovered that G-Dragon was featured in a track called “Temple,” together with international artist, M.I.A.

This will not be the first time that G-Dragon worked with the American record producer and artist. He previously featured in G-Dragon’s track “Coup D’Etat” with Diplo. However, this will G-Dragon’s first time to be featured in his international release.
