G-Dragon Does Not Hang up His Pictures at Home Because of His Paparazzi-Exposed Life

The lives of stars are often like an open book with little privacy due to the paparazzi. BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon, who knows very well what it is like to be exposed to the camera 24/7, revealed that he didn’t have pictures of himself hung up in his house for this reason.

On the episode of OnStyle’s “Style Live” aired on June 25, G-Dragon revealed the inside of his art exhibition, “PEACEMINUSONE.”

G-Dragon transformed his pictorials into virtual cubes, and while presenting the pieces, he says, “I’m actually not the type of person to put up pictures of myself at home.”

“Though I try to avoid hanging up my photos because my job requires me to be exposed to the camera anyways, this exhibition gave me the opportunity to choose my favorite picture. Each picture here has been hand picked by me from a spectrum of pictorial images taken over the past few years.”

G-Dragon collaborated with 14 modern art teams to display his vision of culture through the language of modern contemporary art at his exhibition “PEACEMINUSONE.” “PEACEMINUSONE” is another word for G-Dragon’s ideal world, meaning the crossing point (ONE) between a PEACEful world and reality’s lack of peace (MINUS.)

It will be held in Seoul from August 9 to 23, then move on to Shanghai, Singapore and major Asian countries.

G-Dragon Responds to New Labelmate Yoo Byung Jae’s Request to Be Friends

G-Dragon Responds to New Labelmate Yoo Byung Jae’s Request to Be Friends

BIGBANG member G-Dragon recently gave an awesome response to brand new YG Entertainment labelmate Yoo Byung Jae’s public request to be friends.

On the June 24 broadcast of SBS’ “One Night of TV Entertainment,” Yoo Byung Jae sat down with a reporter for an interview, during which he talked about joining YG Entertainment.

In the interview, the reporter asked him, “You’re the same age as G-Dragon. Do you think you’ll be able to become friends with him?”

Yoo Byung Jae responded, “Even though I’m young, I’ve come to realize that it’s not really important if you’re the same age in the real world. I don’t think I can become friends with [G-Dragon]. I won’t allow myself to. First of all, I think of him as a hyung. I think I’d be mad at myself [if I were to want to be friends with him],” causing laughter with his straight-faced expression while talking.

However, when given the chance to send a video message to the BIGBANG member, Yoo Byung Jae did a 180 and exclaimed, “Hey, Kwon Ji Yong! Let’s be friends!”

It seems that G-Dragon received the video message well, as he posted his response on his personal Instagram account on June 25: “Hey Yoo Byung Jae, you got it. Let’s grab a meal at the YG Cafeteria #YooByungJae #NewFriend.”
