Identity of trainee caught smoking marijuana with T.O.P revealed + T.O.P goes in for police questioning

The identity of the acquaintance who was caught smoking marijuana with BIGBANG's T.O.P has been revealed.

As previously reported, T.O.P and a female acquaintance have admitted to charges made by police that they had smoked marijuana illegally on 3 different occasions in October of last year. The acquaintance in question has now been revealed to be a trainee named Han Seo Hee. The 22-year-old is known for making it into the top 12 on MBC's 'The Birth of a Great Star 3' in 2012.

She's reported to have been so popular a fan club formed before she ever officially made her debut. There were reports last year Han Seo Hee would be debuting with a girl group, but there have been no updates about her debut since.

In another update, T.O.P was spotted at a Seoul police station on June 2 at 12:30PM KST. Though he was scheduled to come in for questioning around 5:30PM, it's reported the BIGBANG member, who was taking a vacation before his upcoming military enlistment, unexpectedly came earlier. Media outlets are said to have been inconvenienced by the sudden change to his arrival as T.O.P had previously agreed to talk to press.

An YG official said, “The title of the album is ‘KWON JIYONG’, and the first title track is a powerful hip hop song called ‘BULLSHIT’.”

G-DRAGON has always created big issues with his innovative new attempts. This will be his first album in four years after his “COUP D’ETAT” album in 2013. Expectations are running high for his “KWON JIYONG” album, and fans are expecting to see new music and a new style in G-DRAGON’s new album.

Seven music videos of BIGBANG surpassed 100 million views… “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE”, too

[연합뉴스=이은정 기자] The music video of group BIGBANG’s “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” has surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.

According to BIGBANG’s label YG Entertainment on May 31, the music video of “LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” has become the seventh BIGBANG music video that surpassed 100 million views, following the videos of “FANTASTIC BABY”, “BANG BANG BANG”, “GOOD BOY” (GD&TAEYANG), “LOSER”, “CROOKED” (G-DRAGON), and “BAD BOY”.

BIGBANG is the first-ever Korean singer who has seven music videos that surpassed 100 million views.

“LET’S NOT FALL IN LOVE” is the title track of “E”, the fourth single album of BIGBANG’s “MADE SERIES” released from August, 2015. It is a song about sad love.

The music video of “BLUE” included in “ALIVE” album released in 2012 is currently recording 99,740,000 views, so it is about to reach the 100 million view mark soon, according to YG.

“I Live Alone” Gives Statement On Whether They Will Blur Out Photo Of BIGBANG’s T.O.P In Upcoming Episode

In light of BIGBANG member T.O.P’s recent controversy with marijuana use, MBC’s “I Live Alone” is discussing whether they should blur out his picture in one of Yoon Hyun Min‘s upcoming episodes.

In a preview for the June 2 episode of  “I Live Alone,” Yoon Hyun Min goes to the salon and shows the hairdresser a picture of T.O.P, requesting a hairstyle similar to his.

The production staff of “I Live Alone” stated, “It’s only a picture of T.O.P that will be appearing, not the man himself. Because his picture will briefly be shown, there is no problem regarding the episode’s contents. The staff will be conducting a meeting to discuss whether we should blur out his face, and we will proceed according to company regulations.”

Details About BIGBANG T.O.P’s Marijuana Use Emerge; YG Responds

Details regarding BIGBANG member T.O.P’s marijuana use have emerged.

It was reported earlier on June 1 that T.O.P has been charged with marijuana use. Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said, “BIGBANG’s T.O.P was handed over to prosecutors last April for charges regarding illegal drug use.”

According to police, T.O.P smoked marijuana at his home in Seoul in October with a female acquaintance. The police received a tip in March, and tested his hair while he was training at the police officer training facility. He tested positive for marijuana use.

In the police investigation that followed, he had reportedly denied the charges, saying, “I only smoked electronic cigarettes and I didn’t know it was marijuana.”

YG Entertainment responded to this incident, saying, “Hello. This is YG Entertainment. Firstly, we relay our deepest apologies. After confirming with T.O.P, we have confirmed that as reported, during his military service, he was summoned to be investigated for smoking marijuana before his enlistment. He has finished with all of the investigations diligently, and in the investigation process, he has admitted to most of the allegations and is reflecting deeply. We are sorry once again for worrying many people.”

Following these details, it was further revealed that the female acquaintance is a trainee. According to new reports, T.O.P and the trainee smoked marijuana at his home three times. The trainee has been investigated by the police and also tested positive for marijuana use.

Meanwhile, T.O.P is currently serving in the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency as a conscripted police officer.

Reports reveal that T.O.P allegedly smoked weed with a woman, together at his house.

Police reports state that T.O.P smoked marijuana on 3 different occasions, between October 9 – 12.

He was alleged with a woman in her 20s while smoking, at his house in Seoul.

The woman has been identified as a female trainee, but unclear if she is a trainee with YG Entertainment.

The trainee is currently being held by police under suspicions of drug use.

While she was investigated, the woman reportedly told police that T.O.P smoked marijuana with her as well.

“First, we would like to convey our deepest sincerest apologies. After confirming details, Choi Seung Hyun [T.O.P] was in fact summoned for an investigation, under suspicion of smoking marijuana before his military enlistment.

Breaking: BIGBANG’s T.O.P Accused Of Smoking Marijuana

On June 1, Channel A reported that BIGBANG’s T.O.P had been accused of smoking marijuana.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, T.O.P received a positive result in his trichoscopy, indicating that he had smoked marijuana. It was revealed that he had used marijuana last October, but it is not yet clear whether he was a continuous user of the drug.

The police has forwarded the case to the public prosecutor’s office, accusing T.O.P of violating illegal drug laws. The usage of marijuana is illegal in South Korea.

Meanwhile, T.O.P enlisted in the army as a police officer this February.
